Our city recently switched to Flood Brothers Disposal, and it has been the worst experience we’ve had in over 40 years of living here. The workers barely get out of the truck, refuse to take anything that isn’t in a garbage can, and will not pick up larger items — even if you offer to help.
You’re told to call weekly for bulk pickups, yet they still charge extra without notifying you and continue to raise their prices. Their customer service is extremely rude, including the owner, and there’s no concern or respect for senior citizens or residents who need assistance.
It’s disappointing to see how little effort and care this company puts into serving our community. Other garbage companies in nearby areas do an excellent job — clearly, Flood Brothers only cares about money, not customers. I’ll definitely be reaching out to the city to file a formal complaint.

front office is a disaster. do not hire this company to service your unit if you want any kind for accurate bill, or any kind of response.
all you ever get is 'well, I have to take to operations' and you never hear back.
what a crapy company. just go out of biz if you are going to be so horrid.
missed pickups, billing mistakes, lost keys, non-communication, just a constant stream of annoying lapses. dont' get involved.

Left trash all over my driveway and lawn - they sent someone back to clean it up, stopped in front of the house, left it there and drove away.

I would leave zero starts if I could. For the past three weeks they have not picked up our recycling. They offer the worse customer service, every person I speak to about this problem is rude. They can never provide me with a reasoning behind not picking up the recycling. Don’t pay for their services!!!

This company blatently violates the law by operating their very loud trucks at 5:30am IN VIOLATION OF CITY ORDINACE WHICH STATES THEY CANNOT DO SO UNTIL 7:00AM--THEN THEIR DRIVERS LAUGH WHEN YOU CONFRONT THEM. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. Do NOT use!!!

beware new clients, this company gives you a low price in the beginning then they raise your rates every 4 months and its higher than what you paid before you switched.

Flood Brothers is a company that doesn't do its job well. They send drivers who don't like to work. They have trouble lifting a garbage bag that is placed next to the garbage can. This is not the first time this company has done it several times. It does the same thing. It is one of the worst companies I know.

Avoid This Company at All Costs!** I strongly do not recommend this company based on my frustrating experience over the past five years. When I first signed up, my monthly bill was manageable at around $200. Fast forward to 2025, and I'm facing shocking charges exceeding $600 a month! When I finally decided to cancel their services, they started dodging my phone calls and ignoring my emails. Their lack of professionalism has been infuriating. Please be very cautious and read the fine print before signing any contract with them. Recently, I discovered that my contract, which was supposed to have ended a month ago, was automatically renewed without my consent. This is baffling, especially since my original contract clearly stated different services—specifically, a weekly pickup instead of the current bi-weekly schedule. In short, this company has been nothing but a headache. Their tactics are very misleading, and I advise anyone considering their services to think twice.

Do not use! A representative created an account in my name and billed without authorization and without any service!
After moving into my new house, I called to get a quote and find out about their different offerings. Without my knowledge or consent, the representative made an account and billed me for 3 months of service. They then never responded to inquiry about the billing. The second person I spoke to refused to send me an email confirming that they had closed this account and that no payment was required (again, because I never asked to start service and never received service from them). After a 3rd call, I was able to speak to representative who canceled the account and sent me a confirmation email. Grateful for the last representative I talked to, but overall very shady business practices.

Ever since Westmont switched from Waste Management all we have had with this company is problems. They supplied a smaller garbage can than originally and make you pay more for a larger can, then won’t take items that Waste Management would without issues. Even the bulk items if it’s more than 1, needs 3 stickers? Makes no sense. The drivers at Flood Brothers are not friendly like Waste Management at all either. I can’t wait for Westmont to switch back because this company is awful. Also, they left a 2x4 with nails sticking out of it in the middle of my alley way without any care. I hope this company re-evaluates the way they run their business.

Flood brothers is absolutely horrible. I’m sorry but it takes the guys over 6 hours to pick up garbage and that’s absurd. Loud banging and engine noises are unnecessary from 7am to 2 pm

Very disappointed. They constantly fail to empty the can. We try calling and they always make excuses. Unreliable and unprofessional.
