Just had a fantastic interaction with a cashier. Smiled at me, just made my day. I didn’t catch his name but he wore a baseball cap and had an eyepatch. Very nice man. Thank you sir!!

On the way to West Dundee for a car show and due to a broken wheel bearing on our trailer, we broke down just North of Odell. Made some calls for a tow and a repair. Set up both, after waiting 3 hours the tow truck company said that they needed cash or certified funds. 3 hours from home, on a Friday night, with my employer's truck and trailer. Ok, whatever. That's another review. So I call the guy that's going to do the repair and he was unable to tow the trailer at that time because he was busy elsewhere. Understandable. So he suggested that if we can, turn around and head back to Odell, leave the trailer at the BP. It would be safe there and he would come get it the next day. Mind you, this trailer contains a 1969 Corvette cutaway chassis. So we were able to get it there, went in and asked the clerk if we would be able to leave it there for the night. She said absolutely. She actually knew who would be picking it up. Unfortunately I didnt catch her name. So we left it. Today, the mechanic called. Said he has picked up the trailer. So on our way back home, we stopped at the Odell BP, fueled and got some drinks. Great service, clean restrooms. Will definitely stop again and give them my business if I am in the area again.

Highly recommend stopping here for gas and snacks& other services. We got a flat tire on 55 due to construction pulled off in Odell. We called for a tow and an employee@ BP—Chase?? helped change the tire to the 50/50 temporary one so we could get to Bloomington for help. We canceled the tow service and are very grateful for his help and kindness. He was very knowledgeable and generous with his time. Great attitude. Give him a raise!! Thank you so much for your services!🙏🏻

Clean bathrooms!!! Hallelujah. And we lost our oil cap but an employee who was about to leave for the day stopped and helped us find it and refill our oil. Thanks so much for going above and beyond and making sure we were safe for our roadtrip at 9pm🙏

Friendliest gas station I've been to lately. No price gouging still sell Arizona for 99 cents. I wonder if the higher octane gas will come down ever again but if not at least I know I'm supporting a local business

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at this gas station. Firstly, the pump took an excruciatingly long time to dispense a measly 8 gallons of gas—20 minutes wasted. But that wasn't even the worst part. The automatic nozzle valve malfunctioned, causing gas to overflow and spill onto the ground. This was a first for me, as every other station I've visited has functioning equipment.Seeking assistance, I entered the store, only to encounter the most unpleasant and unhelpful staff. Despite explaining the situation, the cashier's response was dismissive and apathetic. Rather than showing accountability for their faulty equipment, they were defensive and lacked any semblance of customer service skills. Their demeanor and attitude were beyond unacceptable.To add insult to injury, when I requested a refund, I was handed a mere dollar with a condescending remark about it being to "make me feel better." What I truly desired was an apology and accountability, neither of which was offered.It's baffling to read positive reviews about "friendly staff" here. As a person of color, I can't help but wonder if my experience was colored by unconscious biases. Regardless, the behavior exhibited was inexcusable. If the staff can't even manage basic manners, let alone provide decent customer service, they have no business working in such a role.Save yourself the trouble and avoid this gas station at all costs! The owner clearly prioritizes neither customer satisfaction nor operational integrity.

I can't speak for the gas station itself but I stopped in on the way to work once for juice and some food.The breakfast sandwich was cold in the middle and disgusting, so I never came back again.
