The car I bought is great, the salesmen was good. But it’s been about two years and they still contact me about buying car insurance through them several times per week from multiple numbers. I said no to the insurance and have blocked many numbers, but they remain very persistent. Will not buy from here again

I had a phenomenal experience shopping at Auffenberg Mazda. My salesman, Brett Johnson went above and beyond what I ever could have expected. If you are looking for a vehicle, and trust and integrity are important, look no further. I would also like to give shoutouts to Blake, the sales manager, and to Logan, in finance. Smoothest transaction I have ever had!!

One star is generous enough bought a nice used Subaru legacy salesman was nice enough to knock off a thousand off the price
However the part i seriously hated about this dealership is that they only give you one key, sold me a car where the windows don’t roll up and a low tire light. After I bought the car I wanted to take off the warranties they said that gap insurance is not refundable and the finance manager was very rude when I wanted to cancel my warranty than turned around and tried to sell me more things that I don’t even need. I recommend not coming here go across the bridge to Saint Louis to get a car

I contacted Auffenberg Mazda Saturday about buying a Mini Cooper and asked about a possible cash deal discount. After several back and forth emails from a very nice gentleman I was told the car was already discounted it $2,100 but to come in and see it because it was a super clean car in great shape. After arranging a time to visit, I made the drive in and about 15 minutes away from pulling in, I was called and told that the salesperson I was emailing all week was off that day and that the car wasn’t actually drivable due to a bad transfer case (though it currently posted and still listed for sale as I write this).
At the dealership, another salesman I was passed off to handled the visit poorly. When asked about trading in my extra older van (kbb 1500-1800$), he laughed at me and said he could do $500 since it’s “going to the junk yard”. He seemed visually agitated at me when I used the taxes and fees as the amount I wanted off of the price and he argued that “someone still has to pay the taxes”, not seeming to understand that I wasn’t trying to not have the taxes paid. This went on to the point I said ok let’s not label the dollars and proceeded to subtract the money I wanted off the price on a piece of paper. It was something like $8563- 600$ tax- 700$ fees and - 500$ trade. He was even more irritated I did this and started to mansplain to me using a new set of numbers starting at 10k vs 8563 the car was listed as for “easy math”. When I explained this was all pricing I wanted before I knew about the repair work he made dismissive comments such as “you would never have known about the repair had we just fixed it before you came in” 😳. Needless to say we could not reach a deal.
I am disappointed that the car was advertised as drivable when it wasn’t, and that the staff showed little respect for my time or attempted basic customer service— even further I feel they made assumptions because of my old trade that I wasn’t worth their business. I feel they will likely not care about this review however I wanted to warn others to not only ask for the CARFAX but to specifically ask what work was done at their dealership before you buy. I also recommend that you don’t try to purchase here if you have female anatomy and if so make sure you take a man with you so they have someone “smart enough” to negotiate with.
I will be taking my 5 kids worth of car purchases in the next five years elsewhere.

I had a great experience when purchasing my CX 50. The salesman, Sam, was great to work with. Very knowledgeable, polite, and organized. The sales manager and the finance manager were both very helpful as well. The cleanliness and the appearance of the facility was very impressive! Overall great experience!!

I have always had a great experience getting my Madza C-9 serviced at Affenburg Madza. The service guys are always very friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to go above and beyond. My last visit they were nice enough to put on a plate holder I had purchased. They are very transparent with what’s going on by providing a video of their evaluation of your vehicle. I love this place and you get a free car wash after each visit! I don’t mind the drive from STL to IL at all that’s how good 👍🏾 they are!!!!❤️💯✅👏🏾
