I’ve had a Varicella(Chickenpox) immunization scheduled here twice and both times were canceled. I wasn’t frustrated the first time, since I had 2 scheduled that day and I was still administered one. Plus, Jack, was incredibly kind and informative. He also set me up for the second appointment telling me that the order for chickenpox should arrive that following Monday. I get to my appointment, and it’s still not there. This time Jack wasn’t there, but a different lady who sort of brushed me aside and did the whole “Sorry about that:/“ bit but in a more professional manner I guess.
I understand fast paced environment, I literally work in one. However, there are better ways to let go of patients/customers. This was an APPOINTMENT. If you know that your location does not carry that immunization-which I know they didn’t ahead of time because I heard, “Some guy checked in for chickenpox but we don’t have that” followed by a laugh??- then cancel the appointment and inform the patient ahead of time. Perhaps, set them up for an alternative appointment elsewhere or at a later date in your location.
The staff was also talking obnoxiously loud about things patients don’t need to hear about which definitely skews the border of professionalism you need with patients. It’s an enclosed space sure, sound travels. But there’s a time and place, and I guess we’ve forgotten how to speak in a normal volume. I am not going back to this location, and please avoid this place and save yourself the trouble. Great job though Jack, you deserve to be in a better location honestly.

Some times Walgreens can be challenging certain days of the month. But I just keep the stress level low by having a pleasant conversation with someone.

At 3:30pm was told prescription would be ready in 1 hour, now it’s 5:50pm & told it will be ready in 1 more hour, and they wonder why everybody is pissed at them

It couldn’t be more obvious that the female pharmacist hates her job. I called because I was prescribed a medicine and then read the warnings and realized there’s no way I could take this medicine. I called and asked the pharmacist for her opinion. She read the label to me (the one I can read myself and told her I did?) and had a horrible attitude. I was worried for my well being and she was acting annoyed that I even called. Just plain rude.

It's really ashame that they call ya and then u get there your medicine is not ready. They need to run the prescription and let you know then if your insurance will cover it. Now you've wasted a trip going to get it. They have to many kids working there and not doing a good job with the customers at all. The only reason I use them is because it's close to my hm. But I'm going to take my business to another pharmacy asap.

They charge the insurance before you actually pickup the perscription.

I had the displeasure of dealing with an unprofessional pharmacy technician who seemed to be enforcing non-existent policies. I recommend they educate themselves before denying customers access to their medication. Three days later, I spoke to a different technician who said they weren't sure why the previous technician said what they did and provided me with my medication without any issues.

If you are getting passport photos, they do not provide a free digital copy at this location. It’s an additional $6 to the normal price. They do not email it to you. You get a USB stick. When I mentioned the ad says they do, they maintained they don’t.
