Mice, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons — just because they’re seen as an inconvenience doesn’t mean they don’t deserve life. It genuinely bothers me how easily people treat these animals with cruelty simply because they don’t fit neatly into our everyday world. Like… haven’t we evolved past that kind of thinking? I love that spaces like this exist, because they give people the opportunity to actually see these animals differently — and maybe even challenge the capacity of their own compassion.”
