The service was good, the food and price was absolutely horrible! I ordered two steal burritos with an order of chips and guacamole for almost 40 dollars in addition to there 3.75% charge for using a debit card! The meat was full of fat and flavorless, the sour cream seemed like it was going bad, I've had better burritos at Taco Bell for half the price! I definitely won't be back

Had been to a different El Famous Burrito location but sadly here the Steak Nacho Platter tastes like it was roast beef.You only get one chance to give a first impression.

The burrito was average at best. The cheese wasn’t melted . It wasn’t hot but only warm. It just wasn’t it for $12. I ate in the store right away.

I was craving tacos for lunch and ended up here. Given the fact that its Orland its hard to find Mexican food. I actually ended up getting a chicken Burrito Jr. Which came with a fountain drink and fries! The guy behind the counter was super friendly. And the place looked cleaned and organized. I was in and out. He packed ketchup, salsa, napkins, & jalapeños! All for $13.

Beware if you ever order through a food app such as DoorDash. I ordered through the app for pickup and then they charged me at pickup. Since he said I needed to pay to get my food, I obliged but then double checked I was not charged on DoorDash but I was. I called them and she said she would refund me, but 60 days later and no refund. Never going back when people lie to me. It takes two seconds to refund a customer who paid twice. Don’t order from here.Edit: After I posted here and my husband posted a Yelp review, I was finally refunded two months later.

Ok, I give 5 stars bc I love the food. But, when there’s delivery orders PLEASE make sure the orders are accurate and you put plastic wrap around the soups so the lid doesn’t pop off.I pay extra for cheese and sour cream- they don’t ever add it! I pay money for the menudo and the lid pops off and spills all over the place.They don’t give the green sauce for the tacos or the other sides that says is included with the food. Please take better care of the orders. I know mistakes happen and I empathize with that, but this is a constant mistake that is always overlooked when we order delivery.The food is always amazing, it’s always very hot and amazing, it’s just those important details that are always overlooked. Thank you and your team for the amazing food.

My wife and I ordered via DoorDash for pickup and when we got there the restaurant said they didn't have our order so she paid on another card. Restaurant ended up getting paid on both charges and refuses to refund either. We are working to resolve this through our credit card companies but the charges do not match due to DoorDash fees.With so many other options for standard Mexican food in the area I would avoid ordering at this location.

Update: Owner reached out shortly after this review was posted and asked us to call her, which we already had, spoken to her, and gotten nowhere. We provided her the transaction date, exact amount, and card details initially and in a yelp message today. Hopefully she does the right thing and we can stop going back and forth with our credit card companies.

This is a chain. The location I went to previously was just OK. This one is very good. Their food is delicious and consistent. Both times we have been there it was great. I had the burrito both times. First was the el pastor and this time was the chicken. Delicious. My wife had two tacos on corn tortillas. First time steak, second time chicken. Both times excellent. The staff is friendly and professional. Full liquor bar. But we did carry out. They also give you on request home made hot peppers made out of carrots. Very generous on their delicious hot sauces too.

Has to be the worst Mexican food I have ever had hands down. Not to mention pricey....EASE up on the salt! The food and everything!! The chips were so salty couldn't even eat them. The quality of food was terrible. Waste of money ended up throwing it out.
