Wish I could give 0 stars. I'll start with my visit a few months ago when inwent to purchase appliances. There was only one associate working and he was with other customers, so I respectfully waited. Another employee passed us by and said "sorry I dont work in this department, you need to wait for him" and pointed at the employee that was working with other customers, at the same time that employee heard him and looked at us. Again I respected the other customers space and time and waited. After 40 minutes he finished with his customers and walked past us like we didn't exist. I said excuse me and he blurted out "I don't work in this department". We left and went to the home depot, we purchased the same appliances, the same day, from a friendly employee! One that understood how to respect and talk to customers. I SWORE I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH LOWES. Well I messed up and went there today. They have their soil marked online for 1.68 a bag, I load up 10 bags and head to the register. I'm told that they won't give it to me for that price. The service desk employee said that it was order online only, after showing her that it was not, she pointed to the pickup time and said she would do it but I would have to come back to pick it up after 3 hours đ¤Łđ¤Ą. She then went to talk to a manager and came back and said "she said she will give it to you at that price". Well she didn't! Instead she said the price shows in their system for 2.98 and if I wanted them that's what I have to pay. I don't think Lowes understands there are 2 home depot stores, 2 menards stores and 2 ace stores 10 minutes away in either direction. I recommend everyone go shop elsewhere where the employees understand how to treat a customer. On either occasion, I wasn't asking for anything special just customer service and to pay their advertised price. THIS TIME FOR SURE NEVER AGAIN!!

I remodeled my home and decided to spend all my money at Loweâs. I spent over $15,000. It was a complete nightmare. I purchased a lot of items and I mean a lot most of the items took months to arrive. Some items were wrong some never arrived, and had to be re-ordered. It was a long process but overall I was happy until recently. I tried returning just a few items and I mean like six or seven items and thereâs a new store manager named Peggy, which was extremely rude, disrespectful, and taking advantage of her authority. She was not working there throughout the time. I was making all these purchases, when I came to return it, she said it was way too long and absolutely refused in a rude ignorant manner and told me to take it up with customer service. Sheâs the new general manager here and Pablo no longer works here. Basically sheâs in charge now and what she says goes and she says no refund no store credit , nothing all I got was a rude attitude and complete disrespect from her no appreciation when she seen my Lowes account that I opened up and all the money I purchased there I regret, choosing lowes for my home remodel because of Peggy I will no longer be shopping at Loweâs ever again for any more home remodeling I will be taking my business to Home Depot never again, also, she was sick with the flu coughing profusely, I mean, if youâre sick, stay home youâre trying to get the customers sick and Employee sick spreading your virus very unprofessional Peggy is costing that Loweâs business. I donât know how they chose her to be the general manager over plenty of the other managers that were much better.

Needed pet friendly salt. 20pd bag. $18!!!!! Menards $10.99. What a rip off. Loweâs is closer so I went there. Never again. I will drive the 5 miles to my favorite store.

I ordered one appliance, a washing machine, and it has been a headache. The first time I ordered 12/29, the washing machine was delivered by Roger who said he could not connect the kit I ordered with free installation because my pipes were âcorrodedâ. They arenât corroded. Fine. He wouldnât inspect it, and they barely wanted to put it in place. When they left I hooked it up and plugged it in. I instantly knew something was wrong. This whirlpool washer drum was sitting super low. I tried to run a cycle, and it dropped lower. I called the customer service line, and the lady was laughing and patronizing about my explanation of the drum. She only gave me the option to cancel. I canceled. I called the manager at the Orland store AND went up there. He told me I could exchange it. I set up an exchange. Next delievery came on Jan 4. The delivery crew took it out the box and we all looked at it. Same issue, drum was super low. They took the machine and the other defective machine. I called Orland and spoke to the manager. I decided to go in and pick a different brand. I selected an LG. Delivery was set up for this Saturday Jan 11. I look at the confirmation the next day and the delivery is an address I havenât lived at in over 10 years in Indiana. I call the delivery number and they said they canât change the address. I called the store and they said they canât change change the address, only cancel the whole order. I asked for it to be canceled. I was told Joe would be there in the morning. I called the next day and they would not let me talk to him. Goofy acting people. Iâm not going back. They donât care and apparently donât want your money. Oh well.

had an order with the Lowes in orland park il. I had ordered a stove. It came broken. It was picked up on this Wednesday & then I was supossed to get a new one delivered yesterday. Thursday. It never came. I called this morning, apparently there is no record who I talked to Monday. And now the new oven isn't coming and we are left with no oven.
We will never buy anything from Lowes ever again and I'm filing a complaint with the bbb
So I called the number in the response that was provided for me. No one
had a clue what I was talking about. It's just b.s to make it sound like they care. Now I'm even more disappointed and disgruntled!!! Do not buy from Lowes!!

They have shortage of employees and very hard to find someone to ask and get help. Even if you get someone they canât answer your question.

I am so damaged at how poorly I was treated at this store when I tried to purchase a Weber Grill. I chose Lowe's to purchase a Genis Grill on sale for 850.00. I had no issues in the store with the salesperson during the purchase. I gave them all the correct information and I saved all my receipts. The grill was never delivered to my house. I called and complained that the Grill never arrived and no one fixed the situation. I went back to the store and spoke to management and they assured me that the grill was on order and it would arrive after a few days. After 5 days, the grill was still not delivered to my house. I called the store and they gave me the same excuse that it was on backorder. I had to cancel the order and not get a Grill.

Extremely rude and unprofessional sales associate. We went in for a washer and the associate, Teela, was immediately annoyed from the moment she saw us. She spoke to us like we were the biggest inconvenience just by existing. Then the washer we wanted was showing as one in stock and she said âthat usually just means the display oneâ never checked the back. Then asked if she could check other locations and immediately said there werenât any (clearly didnât look) then when we asked about the delivery fee and she basically laughed like were so dumb for asking and said itâs and extra $30
I have never been treated like that in my life and all she we asked her to do was type in and look up an item. If you hate your job that much just quit.

Usually my experience is pretty good, but not tonight. Went to get Stain tinted at the Paint counter and no one was there. Pressed the help button and an employee came by 2 minutes later to turn it off and said someone would be with me in a few minutes. 10 minutes later and still no one.

ACCESSIBILITY REVIEW: Many handicap parking spots that are about 20/25 steps from the door. Flat entrance. They have electric carts. The bathrooms are clean, very close to the front door and have two large handicap stalls.
