I called an hour before arriving to make sure the right product was at the store. The assistant got my name and put the products to the side.
I arrived 7 mins before closing and the assistant, Raina, had all of my products ready to go. She also had samples out for me and ready to try. She was extremely helpful and had me wrapped up a minute before closing.

I was in the store today to actually make a purchase and first I wasn’t even greeted or acknowledge which I usually don’t care, but then another customer walks in and is greeted nicely her and her daughter, and once both ladies leave now she acknowledges me but doesn’t pay attention to me because she sees my kids touching the make up I get it, I do but there’s no need to tell my kids rudely to stop touching it! When my daughter was actually trying to see a gloss so we could buy it! I hate to say this but racism was definitely a part of this encounter! Thanks Jordyn F, for your awful service!

A huge thank you to Sandy at the Orland location! I was a day late picking up my order after being in the ER, and when I called, Sandy went above and beyond. She ensured I wouldn’t miss my promo, holding my order until Sunday. When I arrived, Sandy was still there, remembered me, and made my shopping experience incredible. I truly appreciate her kindness and outstanding customer service! Your location has a new customer!!!!

Saturday I went to Mac Cosmectics in Orland Park mall to have my makeup done for a Halloween party I was attending that evening. Jordyn slayed my makeup, it was AMAZING!! Her and all of the other girls working that day were all so NICE and friendly and what I was most impressed with was how eager they all were to learn ❤️. I definitely recommend Jordyn and All of her coworkers if you want to get your makeup done there. Thank you again Jordyn, you are so talented ?

Quianna (Q) was so helpful in finding my correct color match! I was placed in the wrong color shade by another employee at this store which resulted in me looking dark and orange. Thank you Q for your great service, patience and helping to turn my negative experience into a positive one!

Didn’t even get to shop in the store ? I was excited to see a MAC store so close to me, and after ordering the incorrect shade online I decided to just go in store to get the right shade and check out other products bc there was a sale. Store opens at 10AM… the sign on the store even says that. I got there at 11AM and attempt to open the door and the person working says “oh, the store isn’t open yet.” I was confused… it says open. I asked okay, when does it open then? The person working stated “I don’t know, maybe 30 minutes.” I just walked away. No time to bullshit around waiting for this. This is a legitimate store right? I went directly to Mac inside Macys and the person working was kind, available, and helped me find the items I need!

Super rude girl. I went inside just to ask if the promotion with the every 6 lipsticks you get a new one is still going on. She looked at me with a disgusted look and acted as if I was already supposed to know that it ended. I left the store without even telling her what I was looking for. Because of her attitude, I went to the MAC inside of Macy’s instead and bought Diva by Mac. Your loss, not mine. Looking at the reviews below me, looks like I’m not the only one. Great products. Not so great employees.

Unfortunately I did not get to experience the store and make up experience how I wanted due to a rude employee “Lisa”. :( I just started my make up journey literally today at the mall and was looking & inquiring about different products and different stores. I had visited Sephora & came downstairs and saw Mac & thought I’d stop in & browse. Though I know the store is named “Mac” as I’ve stated I am new to the make up world in journey. I entered the Mac and approached the nearest employee, which apparently was Lisa. I asked a very simple question being “Do you guys only sell Mac products?”, very simple. Lisa’s response was “Yes. This is the Mac store.” In a smart & condescending tone. Immediately my shopping experience at Mac was cut short to my disappointment. Do with that what you will. If you know what you want and know all about make up Mac & Lisa is the store & employee for you. If you’re just starting out I wouldn’t recommend.

I definitely agree with other reviews that some of the girls at this particular Mac location are not friendly at all. Please be aware before you enter this store that you may not receive the customer service you desire. Some of the girls are young, rude, ignorant, and downright unfriendly. Jordan from this location is one of them. Do yourself a favor, online shopping or trying a different MAC store (even the Mac store inside Macy's) might be a good alternative if you're looking for better service.

I’d leave zero stars if I could, I’m assuming because this is a location frequented by white customers more than any minority they aren’t accustomed to providing quality customer service to anyone else and assumed we wouldn’t be making any substantial purchases we were rushed and when checking out we had our bag snatched from our hands to be “double checked” for anything we might’ve stolen when not a single other person in the store was glanced at twice, if you can take your business elsewhere I would certainly recommend it. Absolutely unacceptable customer service, makes MAC look bad as a whole.
