Always out of stock on the Fancy Feast Senior cat food. You only carry the 12 pack and there was only one on the shelf. I would like to purchase the 36 or 48 so I don't have to come back. 12 pack only gets me so far. My time is valuable. Purchase more and in more sizes.

Always an issue with grooming…them canceling appointments, groomers not showing. Them canceling appointment for no reason, getting a text not a call stating they are canceling, only to call them immediately to reinstate the appointment to which they just chose a morning appointment when I told them I wanted the original 4:15 pm appointment and they told me on the phone that was fine. Show up and they said it was for 10:00am. The person was extremely rude, also an ongoing issue!!! One time they made me wait 30 minutes after my appointment time because the groomer was late and then she checked her dog in all while I stood there. It is frustrating as canceling appointments has been an ongoing issue with them. Oh and they like to charge extra saying hour per is matted when she absolutely was not and is brushed daily. I am out chances with this place and will not be going back.

Today, I was called by Emily about my mix (poodle/pom) bitter as Emily was trying to get ready to do her services. When I dropped my dog off, I had already been given a price that was $20 higher that I was paying over the past 3 years since Emily started doing her services. But Emily called to say she would have to use a more expensive shampoo to calm my dog down for Emily to do whatever she needed to do. How is a shampoo got to stop a dog from bitting? Emily didn't know. I felt like she was trying to upcharge me and selling me 'snake oil'. I told her I would just come get her. When I got her, Emily didn't bring her out on a lease, just opened the partition dog, and left me to catch my own dog in the waiting area to get my leash on her. If another customer was coming in or had a dog in that space, it would have been a problem or worse! Check the store video Petco after 4p on 01-26-25.

My son made my dog an appointment online. I brought her in yesterday and they told me that they canceled my appointment because he didn’t answer a phone call (while he was at work) to confirm the appointment. I said ok if that is your policy then fine, do you have time to squeeze her In today? They said they could if I paid for the premium upgraded package because they were not going to stay late if all I was paying for was a bath. The staff was rude, unprofessional and I wouldn’t trust them with my dog ever again. They don’t deserve your business. If all they care about is the money, who knows what kind of treatment our animals are getting.

Fair selection of products. High prices though. Waited three times for an associate to show up at a cash register for checkout as well.

I don’t have concerns with the quality of grooming at this location, however, the cost of grooming seems to vary based on random factors or which groomer does the service. I took my 14 lb Shih Tzu to this location for 3 different appointments, which were all 8 weeks apart yet paid a different amounts each appointment ($87, $108, $118). I was fine with the first appointment because he was overdue for grooming, but it doesn’t make sense for it to be increasingly high after regularly bringing him in at 8 weeks. It also is just a bit absurd to charge $100 for a small dog that doesn’t have much fur. Petco has great prices for puppy haircuts, but after the cutoff for adult dogs it feels like a scam.

BEWARE !!! Grooming department is a complete joke !! Incompetent . Had 3 dogs scheduled, 1 1/2 was completed. Sent home a dog half cut, not bathed. Other dog would not do, supposedly an ear infection.( didn’t realize their groomers were veterinary trained) Took him immediately to vet and have documentation NO ear. Infection. Outer lobe irritated from him scratching but NO Infection. Was told by groomer that 13 yr old needed more grooming time, so he could get use to it. He’s been groomer 4 times a year for 13 years , 52 times !!!! Along with bi weekly bath’s throughout his life.
STAY AWAY !!!!!!

Looking for help on a dog booster seat for a boxer puppy. Went to front to ask employee for help who was busy on his cell phone. I told him that when he had a minute I had a question for him. After more than a few moments he picked up his head and just stared at me. I explained what I was looking for. He begrudgingly walked over to the aisle where he thought they might be and pointed. I went online and found that petco actually did have what I needed but he couldnt be bothered to help me find it. I also noted petsmart across the street had it as well. I took the pup and drove over there. Sorry petco, I won't be back.

Very disappointing experience-we have been using Petco grooming for a couple of years now. All of a sudden they claim to be unable to cut my dog’s nails. Additionally, they’re beginning to enforce policies they haven’t in the past-no grooming of dogs on certain medications (which my dog has been on since we started there). We have been increasingly disappointed with the quality of grooming since Malik quit.
