Called on a new Ford Maverick. They offered to bring it to us for the sale. I messaged them for a total cost. They sent me the cost and stated I had to purchase a $7,995 "warranty". When I questioned what this was fir, the salesperson said it was for all new Maverick's. He stated it was for the paint job and interior! I advised the sales person he needed to turn around because, we would not be purchasing this so called "warranty" or vehicle. You see, we had already done our research. This salesperson did nothing but LIE!

I went into Joe Rizza Ford this week to check out a 2013 Lexus GX 460 they had for sale. I asked to have the vehicle put on a lift so I could inspect underneath the vehicle. Upon inspecting, I noticed blown oil around the engine like as if there was an oil leak. I asked to have the protective plate removed ( Lexus puts these in place to protect the engine). The salesman Jim Vertucci, this was whom I was dealing with, said sure he would have the mechanic take it off. I returned to the waiting area. Jim returned about 5 minutes later and said he was not going to "BS" me and said the Lexus had a valve cover gasket leak and a timing cover gasket leak. He said it was noted in the mechanics notes upon inspecting the vehicle when it was brought in. We spoke to John Livigni ( sales manager ) and we had agreed on a sale price and they would fix the leaks as noted in the mechanics notes. I returned 2 days later and no repairs had been started. Jim said the mechanic cleaned the engine and there seems to be no leak. We test drove the vehicle for about 50 minutes. Upon returning I asked to have the vehicle put back up on the lift. Once I was able to inspect the vehicle again after we test drove it, oil was visible around the valve cover gasket. I showed Jim and he acknowledged the oil was there. Jim said he would have the mechanic look at it in the morning and then give us a call. He called the next day and said there was no oil leak and the vehicle is sold "AS IS"!! After acknowledging in the beginning that the mechanics said there were oil leaks, he proceeded to say there was no oil leaks. I BELIEVE THIS DEALER IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY OF MY BUSINESS. BEWARE, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY THE WAY THEY LIKE TO DO BUSINESS. I guaranty whom ever purchases this vehicle for Joe Rizza Ford and after about 3 to 4 months when they take it in to get the oil changed the mechanic will tell them they have oil leaks. These repairs are not cheap. The costs to repair these leaks will probably run between $3000-$4000 dollars . Once they find this out they will be posting a negative review of how Joe Rizza Ford sold them a vehicle that needed these repairs. AS JIM THE SALESMAN SAID " THE VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS".. WELL JIM, THIS REVIEW IS JUST "AS IS" WHAT HAPPENED.

I put down a substantial deposit on a vehicle at this dealership with Luke Clarizo. Five days later, I was hit with untimely news that I was loosing my job. I reached out to the GeneralManager Gary Precin with the news and asked for my deposit back. He refused to return it. I never took delivery of the car or did any financing on the vehicle. In fact, the general manager tried to snatch the "Worksheet" out of my hand when I was trying to read the said "agreement" which did not state I would not receive my deposit back. He physically assaulted me as he was snatching the document from my hand. I had to contact the police department and file an assault complaint against Mr. Precin. This has been by far one of the worst experiences I have had in my life, let alone purchasing a car. At this point I am out a significant amount of money, no car and no resolution. I am devastated and hurt that a so called reputable business could treat a consumer in this manner. Please be ware of Joe Rizza Ford in Orland Park Illinois.

Not happy. Very underappreciated. Buy a Lincoln so they can treat you like a nonentity once they get your money.

Do not buy tires from Ford! I purchased my Escape from the showroom floor in April 2021. in February 2022 I got a random flat tire after 10k miles and was told I had to buy two new tires. Over $500 later brings us to July 2022 - pothole in Chicago let's buy two new tires AGAIN. Now it is Feb 2023 and got another random flat - hey, only had to buy one new tire this time because the tread is SO NEW I'm fine. Just under $300 this time. i haven't had this car for 2 years, under 25k miles and I have paid more for tires than I ever did with my past two cars. No warranty? Seriously? Nothing offered. When I ask the service tech I get the shrug. Discount Tire here I come.

I think they have one of the best service departments of any automotive dealerships. There staff is very friendly and extremely professional when it comes to dealing with any problems with your vehicle. I have never had a problem with they and I've been dealing with them for also ten years..

I've absolutely lost all trust in Joe Rizza Ford and its service department. I believe they intentionally ruined my car just so that they can squeeze me out of $10K or more for a $100 part; I'm basically paying for trumped-up labor costs. I don't understand why every time I get an oil change, they find something wrong with my vehicle of only (4) years purchased new from Rizza. After a year of purchasing my 2018 Ford Escape, they ruined the engine of my car and had to rebuild it because they left the top off of the antifreeze and it wasted all into it. I've never had my vehicle serviced by any place else; Rizza has performed all work and now my car is ruined from the inexperienced auto mechanics that work there. I spoke with the service manager Scott and he was no help. I mentioned to him that someone replaced my engine cover with an old one. He did nothing about it. Now, they are stealing parts off my car. Pathetic. I have allowed Rizza to perform most of their recommended services and they break something else on my car. I even talked to David about my complaint and he mentioned that I should have purchased their extended warranty if I didn't want to pay to get my car fixed. That was a disgusting comment to make to a customer who walked into Joe Rizza and handed a $25K cashiers check for a vehicle David said "usually breaks and is poorly manufactured". If I had known that, I certainly would have never purchased a Ford vehicle all together. This is deceptive in every aspect. I was considering purchasing a Ford Bronco from this place, but after such a horrible experience with staff and service, I can't afford to waste my time and hard working dollars on this place. To date, my engine cover was not replaced, no one called me about my replacing it, so please DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY ARE A RIP OFF.

On Monday, October 17th,2022 I went in to Joe Rizza Ford with high hopes of driving of the lot with the 2011 Buick La Crossse Cargurus and Rizza's own website had advertised. I arrived and was pretty much ignored until I asked if that particular car was still available(Usually car dealers swarm on any visitor like flies on cow dung). Finally, the sales man recognized me and searched for the car. He found hit way on the back lot where all the crappy cars are stored. He even needed have the battery jumped for 20 minutes before I could look at it. I went to the hidden place in their lot and went over the car. The car didn't ever start. The interior was filthy and also the exterior. The car was advertised with virtually all the options and features Buick made available for that model year. This "2011" had no where near all of those options. This "2011" Buick La Crosse was NOT even a 2011, it was a 2010 model year. The website(s) advertised this car as a 4 owner with 66,000 + miles. I was not able to verify that because the instrument panel would not light up due to a dead batter. Also, the shade for the sunroof was missing.EVEN after finding all of these glaring defects and misrepresentation and bold lies / false advertising I was still interested in this particular vehicle. The car was advertised as premium and in excellent condition , for $12,995.00 usd. I knew that even with the pandemic mark-ups this particular car was a sub $7,000.00 car , if that. I attempted to negotiate with the dealership , BUT before I could even offer any thing they said that the price was firm . The sales men did however go back to "see what he could do" with his sales manager. After about 3 minutes he returned and said that the best he could do was a $50 reduction. He also stated that they could , more like wouldn't do any thing about the missing sunshade for the moonroof. I left my number and told them to give me a call when there was a significant price reduction because this car they were selling has a price tag as if it were premium . platinum , or precious. It was not. THIS CAR WAS THE WORST CAR THEY HAD IN THIER USED CAR INVENTORY.I did NOT expect a huge reduction but I did expect them to reconsider that the car was not in premium condition and it had major visible issues that made it ineligible for this exorbitant amount. The worst thing is that this is an as is car and has no warranty beyond what is legally required. These idiots at Joe Rizza think that I just got of the boat or that I am that "there's a sucker born every minute" person~ PT BarnumAll I can say is go elsewhere to shop and buy a vehicle because the Joe Rizza Group of car dealers think that you are the most gullible , ignorant consumer to ever set foot in their showroom. Don't be desperate and do your research before you buy from Rizza or any other dealer for that matter. Don't be afraid to walk away because these sucker will sell you snake oil if you willing to buy it.

If you want to get man handled like the 80s way of buying cars, this is your place. Had a car on order for over a year, once it was ready to be delivered they decided they wanted more money. I canceled with them. My hope is Ford fires all there dealers and they become like blockbuster video. If you like to be screwed over this is your place , none better.
