The therapists at my group psychology practice frequently refer to The Bridge Teen Center. It is a welcoming place for teens to hang out, engage in positive activities, and meet one another. We highly recommend their services and programs!

I’ve recently volunteered at an event there and was completely blown away with everything! It may not look like much on the outside but the inside was amazing!!! What I wouldn’t do to be a teen, again, and hang out at this place! SO many fun activities, really cool hangout spots, and to top it all off, the staff was TOP NOTCH. Every single person I interacted with was so incredibly friendly, warm, and passionate about being there. I also witnessed firsthand how secure they are with who they let in and who is picking up the teens. If you’re in doubt, don’t be. This is an amazing and safe place for teens!!!

I was a volunteer here about 4 days ago and I thought this place was super cool. I might go there some day after school! It was really fun volunteering in the thrift store.

This is a great place for kids to be kids with supervision. There is so much to do not your typical hang out.

I started visiting the Bridge Teen Center as a student. The first event I went to was to support my friend's music performance and I hadn't heard of the Bridge until then. At the time, the Bridge was smaller, but still filled with fun activities and programs you could take part in. I took many classes at the Bridge as a student like cooking classes, art classes, gardening, and more! Around high school, I wanted to start giving back to the Bridge and began helping by volunteering on their Friday night performances and big events like their Girls Night In. I also would perform with my own bands several times, which was a super fun. Once I graduated high school, I moved on to being just a volunteer and hosted many classes for students. I loved teaching art classes, music classes, and beginners American Sign Language! From all my time at the Bridge, both as a student and a volunteer, I have developed important life skills, a passion for giving back, and discovered myself. When I first started volunteering at the Bridge, I was able to closely shadow a sound engineer who would run the audio equipment for live events. He slowly trained me and the Bridge eventually gave me the opportunity to help out with events on my own. I even helped set up their newer audio equipment when they upgraded. If it wasn't for those moments, I would have never found my passion for audio and went on to peruse a degree in Audio Engineering. The Bridge helped me become a leader and find my passion. I am blessed to have been a Bridge kid and get to know their owner, Pricilla. If it wasn't for her hard work, dedication, and love for her community, the Bridge would never have flourished to what it is today. I highly recommend anyone explore your opportunities through the Bridge. Their constant remodels have only made their space even more inviting and exciting. Also, make sure to check out their thrift store right next to it that is honestly my favorite. I go every time I visit Orland Park. I hope the Bridge will always stay open and I can one day move back home to continue my work with them. I love the Bridge!

LOVE having this place in my community. Great place for students to spend time broadening their horizons and developing themselves. If you're older, it's one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences you'll ever get to do! Love it.

A truly magical place where teens can interact in a safe, inviting space. The amount of free programing available each quarter is staggering. There is something for everyone. Come check it out for yourself.

The Bridge is awesome! I went here from middle school to early high school, and it is such a good spot for tweens and teens to make friends and have fun. The concerts The Bridge would hold were the highlight of my friends and I's experience! I also loved coming to their events. I still have the pillow I made 10 years ago at The Bridge! As an adult now who is volunteering with my learning center to run a program, it is amazing how much care and effort The Bridge puts into making this a safe, fun space for all teens!

LOVE having this place in the community. State of the art facility, amazing programs, and stellar staff. I get to volunteer here sometimes and it's a great place to serve the community in a really tangible way. Highly recommend if you have a student in the eligible age range or if you're looking to volunteer somewhere meaningful.

What an amazing organization for teens! Their variety of free programs give teens the opportunity to try and experience cooking, musical instruments, art projects, STEM activities and so much more. Plus, their Friday Night events provide teens a fun and safe place to hangout and meet other teens. We need more places like this in the world. I highly recommend The Bridge!!!

The Bridge Teen Center is an awesome place! During COVID it has been hard finding something to do but I'm really glad that the Bridge opened back up. The staff is beyond friendly and they make sure everyone always feel included. Whether I am doing a program at the Bridge or just there to hangout I know I'm always going to have a great time
