We recently brought our 83 Lbs, shepherd in for TPLO (doggie ACL) surgery. I was extremely impressed with the personal care given to me by the veterinary surgeon explaining all the particulars of the surgery and helping to ease my mind that it was in fact the best method and source of care for our dog. I was also very happy that even as busy as the schedule was they were able to fit an extra appointment in get our dog in for surgery rather quickly. We have since been back several times for follow up visits and care, and again I have been extremely happy with the service and customer care. One of the times we went for service everyone behind the counter was extremely busy and it took a few minutes to acknowledge we were there, but that is bound to happen on occasion.Again, I have been completely impressed with how friendly and helpful everyone has been in the office and over the phone. I have read a few of the negative reviews, but I have honestly not seen any of these issues with OAH. I have been EXTREMELY happy with OAH and I would recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Choi is awesome! Very knowledgable and personable. Has helped both our cat and our dog. Performed several surgeries for us and prescribed medications to help our pets. Friendly staff, really goes the extra mile.

Dr. Choi is so awesome with my dog. She's also very caring and really loves animals. I used to go to commercial vets and I would always get a different vet and they didn't know my dog. Each visit was a new visit with commercial vets. My dog sees only Dr. Choi because it's a private office and she really knows my dog and that makes me feel so much better knowing my dog is getting the best care.

Our pets have been going to Animal Care Hospital for over 20 years. Dr. Choi and the wonderful staff have always taken such good care of our pets. They were especially kind and sympathetic when we had to say goodbye to our cat.

Although the vet was attuned to my cats ailments, her approach made me feel like the WORST pet owner. First of I know my cat and his nature. I’ve had him for over 6 years and he is my best friend. Simba had an upper respiratory infection which was accompanied by a fever. This is something he has had in the past. A prior vet gave him antibiotics and sent him on his way. She then began to talk about how he seemed “unkempt” because he had a greasy section on his back (I had brushed him a few days ago) he’s always had fur like this, it’s always been on the thinner side. She then mentioned he is too skinny and could see his spine which was a completely ridiculous statement. My cat has always been thin and long, regardless of his food intake. I’ve had times where I fed him more and he still remained the same, at best he gained one pound. He happens to have a good metabolism and is very active. He’s also a pretty happy kitty. I can tell at the drop of a hat if his demeanor changes and I am proactive about it. The vet did mention he has skin issues (possibly allergies) which is something a past vet did not give much attention. I have tried medication for him for itching but it has not helped. This I found helpful but again I felt talked down to, I was interrupted many times and instead of gaining an insight into my observations because I have spent the last 6 years of my life with my pet, she was pervasive and didn’t seem to care much about what I had to say. This is a pattern I notice among some vets (not all) some actually care about both the owner and the pet as a unit. Others almost seem to team up against you and shove advice in your face, make you feel incompetent, then slap a massive bill in your face so coldly and don’t offer any payment plans. It’s a fake and cold approach where they feign empathy for the pets but it feels like a ploy to get as much cash out of you and on top of that insult your care taking abilities. That completely deters me from going to the vet. It’s f—-ing rude and something needs to be changed. They recommended I come back but I can’t because although Sims was treated with care I was perceived as a garbage pet owner. Nobody wants to feel icky and judged. Work on your empathy skills for PEOPLE.

Dr Choi is empathetic and really went above and beyond for me in an emergency situation. She is extremely patient and thorough. She does not make you feel rushed whatsoever. She explains everything in detail. I highly recommend her. The staff is equally amazing. Thank you Dr Choi and staff for all that you do, it does not go unnoticed!

The hospital was clean and smelled good, like no pets weren't even there. The staff are excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. Good results.

It’s always difficult putting a dog down, but Dr. Choi and Stacey helped our family get through. They came to our house, talked us through the process, and consoled us. Thank you to the whole Animal Care Hospital team for helping our Dexter over the years!

I had an emergency with my mini aussie, he swallowed a clip and I called them and rushed him over, they took him in right away. They were able to remove the clip from his mouth and he was all better in a few minutes. It was scary but they had 5 people waiting and rushed him into the room as soon as we got there. So grateful for everyone there! Thank you for saving my baby! Sending ❤️

I take my 2 year old tortie cat here when she was a fairly young kitten and has been going here since! they always say how good of a cat she is for being a tortishell and how patient she is she doesn’t meow scratch or bite at all, and we absolutely love the service. Dr. Choi was amazing throughout the whole process. We get her yearly shots here, and they are very caring and loving and always wanna make sure that you’re doing the best for your pets.

The personal touches, you and your pet receives, makes all the difference. We weren't treated like a number, but like family.
