Everybody was amazing. They sent videos of the repairs that needed to be done. Then they sent me videos of the repairs that were made. Bottom line, best customer service I’ve ever seen! I highly recommend them and I will use them from now on!

I recently had a fantastic experience at Bartels Auto Service. After my car was stolen then recovered, I had a pretty frustrating delay with the collision shop that held onto my vehicle for far too long. The only thing left to fix was the brakes, and I decided to take it to Bartels.
I booked an appointment for 7 a.m. the next morning, and from start to finish, the experience was just excellent. They drove me home so I didn’t have to wait around, kept me updated with videos and walked me through the recommended repairs in detail. They also worked seamlessly with my insurance. In less than 24 hours after picking up my car from the collision place, Bartels had my brakes done and got me safely back on the road. Overall, the service was top-notch, and I highly recommend them! Shout out to Steve and the young man at the front desk, John if I am not mistaken.

My car was making a weird noise so I took it to the shop. After they did their inspection, they told me that I had a tie rod loose and that my radiator transfer was cracked. I told them go ahead and fix it. After they started fixing it, they said that I had $5000 more worth of stuff to fix. I told them I only wanted it fixed what I told you to fix so long story short they charged me $3700 to fix what I originally bought the car in for and I still hear the weird noise and it’s not anything has changed. I will never take any of my vehicles back to this place. They are just scammers. My daughter had the same problem. She took it in and every 20 minutes they were calling telling her oh you need this you need that until it was about $7000 worth of work.

Shout out to Bartel’s in Oswego for fixing my car in July. The whole team is very respectful and kind. They answered all my questions and were patient as I continued to ask more questions. Rates were reasonable and they really wanted to be helpful.
This week I had some minor issues that they fixed quickly for me and I appreciate that so much. I highly recommend trusting them with your car needs!!

I came in to ask for a quote for my 2012 Volkswagen Jetta I had a misfire code come up and wanted it to get looked at. I was unpleasantly greeted at the desk by a man named Ian. He was extremely rude to say the least. I am of Chinese descent and I’m assuming he is as well but he was “joking” around calling me some racial slurs. I normally would not care but it was very unprofessional. I immediately left not wanting to sit and get treated like a friend. First time visiting the shop and the last for sure.
