I’m sitting in front of the bank calling their phone and they’re not answering. Message comes on busy helping…. but the bankers are sitting at their desks on their phones. Tim Spence needs to overhaul this bank.

Fifth Third needs to do better, do anyone work there. The 1st call was on hold for 45 minutes and the call got disconnected. Called back a 2nd time and was on hold over hour and disconnected. Apparently fifth third dont need my business nor my mother business we will go someplace else that value their customers.

A couple of weeks ago I was at the register buying groceries and my card was declined. When I stepped aside to call the 800 number on the back of my card the call 'could not be completed as dialed.' I called several time and the call never went through. So I started to instant message a representative from my 5/3 banking app. The representative forwarded me to number where I could call to the fraud department. From there the lady I spoke to told me that my card does not exist and that there was nothing she could do. At this point I was furious. How can my card not exist? I was literally on the phone with her while holding onto my credit card. She told me to call my bank and figure it out and then hung up on me. But here is where things turned around for the better: When I called my local Oswego branch, Adela calmed me down, and more importantly, she took the long time to listen to me. Believe me, I had a lot to say. I was livid. Adela then put me on a 3 way call with the fraud department and found that my card was compromised. She was able to get a new card sent to me that was delivered to my house in less that 24 hours. What a turn around. I took the time to write this review because I truly appreciated the support that Adela gave me at a time when I was so upset. Thanks again.

I opened a new account on Saturday. ADELA was the young woman who helped me. Her patience, kindness and knowledge was much appreciated. I left knowing I made the right choice to switch over to 5thThird Bank! The process was seamless! Thank you Adela!

Well they are friendly helpful and expediant. If you need help i suggest Mrs. Karla Tornero. She explained everything to me about 53s credit building programs and developed a program just for me. Very thoughtful and caring.

Unfriendly and unprofessional branch. Went in to do something simple and it took an hour. No apologies or effort to even speak with us. I work in customer service myself and have never been in a bank that was so rude for no reason. I’ve never made a complaint in my life but feel obligated to do so as I’m sure many people have had similar experiences. I will most likely be leaving 5/3 after 15 years because of multiple interactions with the same banker. Route 34 in Oswego location.
