On May 20,2020 we delivered our Ryobi electric lawnmower to be repaired at Oswego Home Depot. It was the only local Home Depot that had a certified specialist to repair Ryobi's. Apparently the day my husband delivered the lawnmower to be repaired, the specialist quit(?). Our lawnmower was shipped somewhere, and has not be seen since.My husband has talked to three managers. The answer each week is" We don't know where it is." This is unacceptable. Three months have passed, we have been unable to trim our lawn, and a $450 lawnmower is missing. Be aware of the service at Home Depot Oswego!Clare Toynton

Bruce from deliveries was extremely helpful in the lumber department. We had been to Me arcs the day before and their wood was crap. Upon arriving at the Home Depot kids were building and pounding next to Us and Bruce was nice enough to grab a ladder, ask what sizes we needed and got us on and out working efficiently with my husband to find the perfect lumber to build our deck. What a nice guy with a great eye for detail! Thanks Bruce!!

The commercial pro desk team have really come through for me. Rob, Sheila and Devante especially have helped my company grow and become successful by catering more to our commercisl needs rather than just a local home-diy hardware store might do. You can go sit with them and talk about an order and/or what might work best and how to get the best value and service to fit your company's needs. Even though it's a large corporation, the pro desk team works with you as if it were a mom and pop shop --- which is what we are, and appreciate the same attentiveness which we strive to provide our customers

This Home Depot played a game. We were at this location earlier last week, & we saw a sign next to the Palm plants that said "3.25 Palm Sunday". We were so excited for the discounted palms. So we came back today, on Palm Sunday & picked up a plant. But we got the register & the price came out to 14$ which, obviously, was confusing. We asked a worker & they were confused. We showed them the sign & they said "oh that's just the date" Why would Home Depot put up a sign like that? It advertises a false sale, essentially. We were very disappointed. We didn't need a reminder of the date- we just wanted a $3.25 Palm. We still bought the palm, but were very sad.

I've always heard that Home Depot will match any price plus 10%. Well that's not true. I guess it depends on what store it is. I asked if they would match a price of an aerator from Rural King and they would not.

Good store for small, purchases where they can lead you to the right aisle and help pick out a hardware tool or paint brush. It is not, however, where I will go for big ticket purchases where I need, and for the money expect, a higher level of assistance, product knowledge, and customer service skills. Visited kitchens last evening ready to purchase my appliances and was ignored for 10 minutes by lone, unskilled worker and rest of area was deserted. I will go to the Naperville or Batavia store because they seem more fully staffed and to know more about their products. Or the Best Buy next door. I am not a fan of The chain in general, but their service at the large appliances section is top notch and like night and day when compared to this H

Went back last night for a generalized item, looking for a carpet/matt for a reptile cage... Quite a random, oddball item to find at a hardware store. The guy I spoke to in the carpeting area was super friendly and walked me around helping give me ideas for close to an hour. I kept telling him he didnt have to help me if he was busy doing other things because I didnt know what I wanted and he persisted and continued to help me, going out of his way, digging through stacks of clearance items, tiles, and different fake carpet type items. The staff is friendly as hell, helpful and knowledgeable. I finally settled on some nice 18x18 in tiles, he explained how to cut them to size and everything. This is why I dont go to Menards or other competition. While they have kids working a summer job, you guys have professionals with great customer service that have experience and help you find exactly what you need. They act like they care. I wish I grabbed the guys name. He deserves a raise and a vacation. That man alone will bring a lot of customers back and bring your business a lot of money and business. I drive from Plano to this location, there is a different Home depot and a menards within a mile of my house and I still come here. Keep up the great work. Ill continue shopping here and referring my friends and family.

My review is strictly on the lumbar department. I have come in here a few times with ideas on how to make something, but still needing some guidance. Everytime the employees I have dealt with have been great. From helping me choose the proper lumbar, to cutting it for me and making sure my measurements are correct! It's so nice being able ask questions and actually get help without feeling like your jist annoying them :)

We stopped into this store last Saturday to price blinds for a window in our new rental. George helped us and gave us two estimates for custom fits. He knew we weren't buying that day, but he answered every question and provided written estimates. He had patience and a good sense of humor. What an asset he is to the store and the company. Yay George!

We came here to order a new sliding door (we left Menards when we realized the 18 yr old on the floor didn't have a clue). At HD we worked with Glen and Jerry. Both very knowledgeable and friendly. However, we were consistently told incorrect information and when I spoke with the manager she would tell me something different than what Glen or Jerry told us! With winter approaching we really wanted our door and the process took a lot longer than it should have! For example, we were told the store would call us when the door came in. But they took it as their own inventory and after 2 weeks when my husband called they realized they did have it. Two weeks without our new door was very frustrating when we have an awful draft coming into the house. They did at least delivery it for free! If you make a large purchase I would be double checking any info someone gives you.
