Since I’ve been working with them over the past four years, they have not been keeping track of previous records, and are adamant on telling me that I haven’t worked with them before. The lady that I tried to work with this year, Debbie, told me that I had to personally reach out to the IRS in regards of discrepancies in my 2021 tax return, even though she was the one that actually helped send out that exact letter last year. She completely forgot about me and kept no record of what we did. Days prior, while filing for my 2024 tax return, she told me that we needed to make an amendment for the 2021 tax return (something that wasn’t mentioned to me last year), but apparently since I filed at different H&R Block location at the time, they can’t even access my records. Communication is terrible with them, even when talking to front desk over the phone. They just want your money. They don’t care about customer service.

Did not file my taxes correctly. Got a letter from the IRS saying I owed money. Tried to call them and set an appointment to confirm they did my taxes incorrectly. Set an appointment at the wrong location and would not answer or help me. She flew through my taxes in a few minutes which was a red flag as I had multiple W-2s and multiple states along with other tax forms. She was not communicative with me while doing my taxes and felt like I just had to trust her. She did not ask any questions or answer any questions in a complicated return. They were unwilling to help a mistake they made. I will not be going back, first year using H&R Block and it was a mistake. They also charge $300+ just to have them file. Find a good CPA these people don’t care.

I have had good luck here in the past. This year has been horrible. Finished my tax return early January to get it out of the way. I noticed that after the January 23rd date for the IRS accepting returns that mine had not been received. I called and talked to both the office and customer service on the phone. On two separate occasions I was told that the IRS had received my return but was being audited. So I contacted the office and my tax lady said that it was a computer error and had not been sent in. So I was lied to twice by customer service. In reality they would not have known that my taxes were being audited.Same thing happened with my state return. I know that state returns usually take longer, but now into February it had not been received. So I called the office directly and there was another computer issue. I had to resign all the paperwork again and the return was sent.At some time in the process my return was changed from direct deposit to a paper check mailed to me. I was told that the check was mailed out on February 8. I was told if I didn’t receive it by February 18th to call customer service back. The 18th came around and no check. So I contacted customer service back and they told me to call back after the 21st. No check. Then the 22nd. No check.So I was finally able to talk to a supervisor in person today. She could not figure out what the issue was either. Ashe contacted corporate directly and they then told her to inform me I had to wait another 4 days before contacting corporate back.When it comes to your money you need to trust the people who do your returns. H&R has done nothing but repeatedly lie and done nothing to help me resolve the situation and I am still wondering what is going on.

I have been going tob this location for +15 years. I always see Debbie. She is very professional and friendly. She always asks how the family is doing.
