absolutely horrible experience. as soon as i walked in with my cousins the workers kept staring at us as if we were doing things we shouldn’t. i was taking pictures of flowers to see which ones my mom would have liked for my about to be deceased grandmother. as soon as we start walking to the food section, the store manager walks up to us and tells us to leave the store if we weren’t going to buy anything from there. obviously, we were heading to the food section because we were going to buy something from this store. not to mention, we are hispanics so walking into that store and being stared at made us feel very uncomfortable and racially discriminated. please, work on that unless you don’t want us to sue this place. this store could have kicked us out for stealing, or for being reckless, but we weren’t. we as customers deserve some respect too. thank you that’s all.

AVOID THIS PLACE $$$$$$ Price gouging, and I will be reporting you!!!!!!??? $18 for a pack of cigarettes?????? Camel Crush and Don’t deny it either. I was just in there.! Bunch of damn crooks!!!AVOID JEWEL OSCO !!! These people want $9 for a box of cereal as well!!!!This company oughta be ashamed of itself I have a few choice words one word starts with D the other word is bag.. Dirtbags ! Then again, what do you expect for Illinois?

I often go to this Jewel Osco. I was in line for the fresh market seafood and while I was in line this worker had stocked the shrimp. Some shrimp had fell onto the floor and still put it back. Her name was Mindy T.

Complete incompetence combined with lack of staff. I’m surprised this location is still open. Where’s the management when you need them. And… rhetorically speaking why do squabble over .50? Seriously. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. I’m one of the honest patrons. Come on now.

On August 30th, 2023, I went to pick up a prescription. I was there at 9am in parking lot, but waited until about 9:05 am to allow opening of Pharmacy. No one was present when I arrived.I have used GoodRX since starting getting my meds with Osco, about a year. The technician, Mark Springer, started ringing up the order. I had my GoodRx codes pulled up on my phone as I’ve done many times in the past. This time, instead of just typing the codes in, he wrote them down. He walked away from the register for a moment and another customer lined up behind me.He came back to the register and told me to step aside, while he takes care of another customer He didn’t give any reasoning as to why I had to step to the side while he handled another customer, it was just to step aside. I was flabbergasted. I questioned why I was being asked to step to the side when I was being helped and the other customer needed to wait until my transaction was done. Why am I being asked to step to the side?He proceeds to tell me he is the only one present, and this lady has a ride waiting... as if I was supposed to care! I told him that this was irrelevant and unfair. What if I had a ride waiting and you just asked me to step to the side? How did he know she had a ride waiting and again, what did that have to do with me when you, Mark, are currently waiting on me?!The tech doubled down, saying it usually takes 15 minutes if another payment is used, and Osco has been lenient processing when using GoodRX. Lenient? In the year that I have been going to this very Jewel Osco where many other technicians were alone at the time I checked out, I’ve never waited longer than a minute to have my GoodRX codes entered and applied so that I could go on about my day. I said I have never heard this before, and never had to wait for any approval. After going back and forth for several minutes- frustrated and angry I said to him that this was unfair and a bit biased because after all this time, MY CODES SHOULD BE PROCESSED, YES?!I angrily stepped to the side because I did not want to escalate the situation any further. The customer behind me stepped up and then Mark had the audacity to ask me to step away for privacy. WHAT?! I am aware of privacy, having worked almost 40 years as a nurse.I was just appalled at his behavior, and did not appreciate it. Being aware of de-escalation after talking with troubled or suicidal patients, sometimes threatening calls, I stepped back, still telling him this was "irrelevant about a ride and unfair", and I was already being serviced. The woman looked at me and said "I'm sorry ", of which I did not respond. If she had been sorry, she would have waited her turn, which could not have been more than a few minutes.When my service was provided as it was only one prescription, I was seething angry, but did not say any more to Mark Springer at store 4138 in Oswego. I went to front desk and asked about a review. She said just put it online, verifying the store number. On the receipt, I tried to scan the QR code to write the review but I tried… my tech savvy daughter tried and to no avail, we couldn’t get it to work.Please note, the woman that supposedly had to be serviced ahead of me due to a ride-- she had done some shopping, checked out and was standing at the front of the store by the time I left. Two things are obvious, there was obviously no ride waiting and even if there was a ride, she still could’ve waited her turn. Why did she deserve preferential treatment for a ride that wasn’t even there? Interesting, Mark.

Order a chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday and recieved a yellow cake. Disappointing because she picked everything out for the cake, and they got it wrong.
