This was my first experience with a thrift store and I was not disappointed! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and I walked away with exactly what I was looking for!

Bought a gift for a friend and the owner was so mean .. she said the stand cost too… I offered to pay!! She went and got me this old cheap thing that wouldn’t hold the plate. The husband ran the counter and he wasn’t going to charge me.. I guess he thought what I did .. no price tag. So it should be included iI was so embarrassed at the party. I wouldn’t suggest going there.. there prices are a lot higher too. I will not be back after I get my piece I need. I found out about this place three Grace Giving Joy.. they had there cards laying on there table. I thought wow how nice there helping another resale place out., I even think she was jealous with her husband

The owner is wonderful! A beautifully curated thrift store I re. I purchased a wood console for only $20 & flipped it for my personal use into the perfect petite desk.

Mixed Market thrift used to be in Downtown Oswego but has recently moved to a "larger" location a few miles away. I had been to the previous location multiple times and then tried their new spot. Not sure what the heck happened but everything changed, for the worse.New location is probably a bit bigger than but it's so crowded with items it's hard to tell. The type of crowded that if you're wearing a coat you're constantly worried it may knock something over every time you turn. If another person is in the same area as you are you need to play Tetris to figure out a way to still see the items in the area without becoming tangled up into a human pretzel with them. Also, this place should not use the term "thrift" in their title but "antique". Nothing in there is priced in a thrift manner but quite the opposite. Honestly, run of the mill inventory at very high prices. I saw a regular used Monopoly game for $11! Books used to be around $.50, now hardcovers are $3 and the rest are $1.50 (unless marked higher). This store is like one of those booths you walk into at an antique mall, quickly notice their prices and items and do a fast turnaround back out into reality. With that being said, I still found a book I was willing to purchase for my kids while I was here. Took it to the front counter and waited...and waited, until I finally just gave up after 5 minutes. Set the book on the counter and walked out, never to return. If you're not going to man the counter then at least put a bell or something up there. Maybe the employee got their coat stuck on a piece of furniture in the back?I know this sounds harsh, and I almost never consider anything below 5 stars, but this place was just miserable. Don't waste your time here.
