BEWARE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My Audi needed an oil change & I took it to I&J lube and right from the start my experience was a nightmare. Here's what happened
*The lady who owns the business & her staff of two were clueless about how to figure out oil-level on my Audi which does not have a dip stick. They were using YouTube videos to figure it out. No problem with that, but they weren't smart enough to use YouTube & I had to intervene and show them how to read oil level.
*We pay for the oil change, leave I&J lube and in less than 0.1 miles my vehicle stops and reads 'Transmission Fluid Low put vehicle in Park'. They paid to have the vehicle towed back to their shop and I am thankful for that (that's the 1-star they get).
*The next day they say that the problem was beyond their capability to fix. So, I took it to the Audi dealership, and the service technician pointed out that these guys may have mistakenly drained out all of the transmission fluid. He also said it is a common mistake that people not familiar with the Audi end up doing. I relay this message to the lady who owns I&J, get her mechanic and the Audi service technician on the line so they can hear from him directly. This 'self-acclaimed super smart' technician would not admit to wrongly emptying out the transmission fluid, nor would he explain why a car that was running perfectly fine before going there would stall the exact same day less than a few mins after oil change. Coincidence the guy said!
*The next day I pull up proof from I&J's invoice that said the transmission level was full before I rolled my car out of their facility. I called the owner and asked her to explain how all of the transmission fluid that they certified was FULL could have emptied out in less than 0.1 miles. Would have left a nice trail of fluid if this had indeed happened. The owner said I was harassing her (when all I did was call her with proof) and has blocked me since then! NO EXPLANATION OR WILLINGNESS TO COOPERATE WHATSOEVER.
I ended up spending a hell lot more than a simple oil change should have taken. Now there's reviews of items stolen, bad customer experience, the owner being super rude etc. posted before. Add lack of technical knowledge, no empathy for the customer and utter negligence of customer safety & well-being to the list. You will need a lot of luck to get your service done the right way, and if something goes wrong and you retaliate, the owner lady will block you.
Happy to post audio recordings here as proof of my review if the owners and the audience need that!

Awesome experience! A routine service was a pleasure. They had me in and out in no time and the manager Irene was very nice and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back!

Shop owner is highly aggressive and unprofessional. While attempting to drop a vehicle off where she instructed it to be. Apparently she changed her mind as she ripped Keys out of my hand then shoved me all while she was screaming as if she belongs in a psychiatric ward! She kept approaching with full aggression. NEVER have I had an encounter like this with any other shop! STAY AWAY this owner is very unhappy and really shows it! I can just imagine how she would treat her own employees.

The shop is under new management and the service is 100% better. Also Jackson The mechanic is back. Took my Jeep back in for a full front and back break job. Excellent work. You will not go wrong with this place.Services: Auto engine diagnostic

Untruthful business practices at this location. Broke my lever to my vehicle and because the car is not new, they lied their way by lying to me. It's the principle of the matter. How dare you people.. I am going to do everything in my power to get this address instead of getting hung up on by ***********************.

Jody and his crew always take good care of me. I started using them when I moved to Oswego over 20yrs ago. When I moved out to Millington (20mi away) in ‘07 I started using someone closer. Before long I grew increasingly dissatisfied with the turnover rate and the lack of peace of mind that brings with at local big box chain service locations. Around 5 years ago I decided to check back and was pleased when they quoted me a very reasonable price for an oil service on my “new” ‘07 Mercedes. The deal was truly unbeatable when I opted for the upgrade on my free full service wash. Speaking of full service washes…I don’t care how it’s marketed, nothing beats full service vacuuming AND hand cleaned windows and hand (cloth) drying as compared to fully automated services of similar pricing!(YES! They even do service for several foreign models…just be sure to call ahead to confirm your specific foreign make, model and year—-sometimes they may ask you to pick up a filter if they don’t have one in stock in order to save any ordering delays)Service: Oil change

I must Say What an Honest Shop Jody the Manger He Is awesome very Polite treat people like people , Having my vehicle here is like family I didn't Have ,,, I needed a Wheel Bearing Right Front it was a Pressed in Wheel Bearing after the repair Great Prices !!!!!! ,,, An A Warranty wow !!! most places don't give you anything but saying have a nice day ,,,,, Now here if your wheel bearing goes bad because they did not make the part Dah ,,,Bring it Back In for the WARRANTY .... No Hassle No Fuss The Manager Helps you and find s out if it failed and Gets a New one Installed Don t wait and drive your vehicle for a long time ,,, bring it back in right away ... All I can Say is for all your vehicle's Needs of today Bring your Vehicle Here .... Honest Shop ... Trusting .... Warranties ..... I went to my dealership for oil change and they told me that my rear brakes needed to be replaced very soon. But as we all know, dealerships can't be trusted. So I needed a second opinion from another mechanic. My trusted mechanic, whom I've been going to for about 5 years, wasn't able to look at my brakes today so I had to find another local mechanic near me to give me a peace of mind until I have the money to fix them. I called the place and Joel or Joseph (if I spell his name right, i apologize if I don't) told me that they offer free brake inspection. When I arrived, he was very kind, quick, and gave me an excellent customer service, which I never received from any other car places before.I would actually come back here when I need another service for my car. From what I read from the reviews and from what I experienced, I can trust them with my car. It's hard to find a trusted mechanic. I would give this place more than 5 stars out of 5.Service: Brakes

I gave them 4 chances to fix my car. I took it in for a wheel bearing. The sound was worse when I left. Then I was told it was fixed and was not making noise. I may not know cars but i can certainly hear. The manager said he would personally look at it. Took it back and claimed he fixed it.He made excuses and never took responsibility. He even blamed it on a 'faulty part from china.' One of the mechanics there told me not to come back and to have someone else work on my car. He was actually looking out for me and didn't agree with how I was treated. When I called the ownerr he yelled over me. He would not let me get a word in. The. He hung up on me. I had a dealership fix what they messed up. I tried asking for a refund after spending over a grand for them to ruin jy car and the dealership who fixed my car confirmed l&j messed it up. Again very unprofessional. I have messages from the manager saying inappropriate things to me. When I messaged him he blocked me.Services: Brakes

I Took my car to I & J Automotive I had a bad Wheel Bearing Right Front Of my vehicle was Making a lot of Noise ,,, While Technician checked it out saying it needed to be replaced pressed in ,,, Then I asked the manager what warranty is on Front Right Wheel bearing 3 yrs ,, I said do it The Manager gave me a Great Price Like Always ,,, After The Wheel Bearing was Installed ,, I took my vehicle for a test Drive ,,, Great place Here If you have any problems with your vehicle or You Right Front Wheel bearing Bring It Back In ,,,That's What Called A Warranty Is For Don't Bring Your Vehicle Any Other Place But Here ,,,It Void's The Warranty .... Very Honest Place Here The Manager Is Great Honest Very Caring ,,,, People Like to complain about Nothing Like I said You Have A warranty ,,,,, Bring It Back In Remember I & J Automotive Did Not Make The Parts That Was Installed Correctly The First Time !!!!! I Love this place again VERY HONEST SHOP YOU WONT GET CHARGED HERE FOR LOOKING AT YOUR VEHICLE ..... BRING ALL YOUR VEHICLE'S HERE ......
