First time getting a car from a dealership on my own and it was a decent experience. salesmen are amazing and informative but the finance lady I had was rude, unprofessional and looked down upon me which was never a good time when I needed to speak to her. Threats and wrongful account pulls. Arguments when I would ask questions. I would rather walk and give her something to talk down on me about. Questioning my intelligence when it came to my lease you name it, it’s been said. Nobody seems to want to help me with her so I tossed my hands up.

Truly was a great experience buying my son's first car at the Honda location! Evan in sales came all the way from the Coronet location to assist me in buying the car of my son's dreams! Everyone was friendly and I didn't feel pressured! I won't buy a car anywhere else!

Had a great experience with our salesman but once it came to talking about financing, the Sales Manager, Bill Kudla, was extremely rude, condescending, and dishonest. He prepared an estimate for me saying I was getting a 5.9% APR but the estimate oddly did not list the APR anywhere on the paper. When I calculated the payments myself, the payments were actually representative of a 6.9% APR! When I called it out, he backpedaled and said don't worry, we just put it higher on the estimate so no one is surprised if we need to charge them higher (based on running the actual credit report). Only problem is that he insisted verbally multiple times the payments on the estimate were the 5.9% APR and they were not! When I asked for a lower APR (4.9% 60 Months) per ACTUAL CURRENT Honda Financing promotions (which are clearly available on the Honda website), he said the 5.9% is the best they can do and kept dodging the fact that it's literally a promotion Honda is offering. He then preceded to tell me repeatedly I was making too big a deal about the APR and interest rates and that "this is just what cars cost now due to limited inventory". He went on to saying it's only about $30 extra a month anyway and what is $30 if you like the car. It all felt very condescending and it seemed to mock my intention to stay in my budget and get the best APR I was qualified for.But the biggest red flag was the $2400+ of dealer add-ons they added to my estimate. An extended warranty and some exterior/interior coating. When I said I wanted to buy the car just at sticker price without any add-ons, Bill bluntly said they would not sell the car without these $2400 of add-ons because of limited inventory and they need to make the extra money to cover costs. He told me the only way he would remove the add-ons is if he raised the APR on the financing so they would still make the same amount of money! He told me if I didn't buy the car, someone else would!Hey, whatever. I went to a different Honda dealer and bought the vehicle there without any add-ons, the 4.9% APR I wanted (per Honda promotion), and was actually treated with respect! Was really shocked and disappointed how Bill Walsh Honda treats their customers.... Buyer beware, especially on the financing...

Best buying experience at Bill Walsh Honda. My daughter needed to purchase a used vehicle and our salesperson Chris Stewart was awesome! He goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. I would recommend anyone needing a new/used car to go see Chris!

Reposting from BW TOYOTA because of relevance: Let me start off that the salesman I was perfectly fine- the problems started when I went to look at a new vehicle and was informed there was a non negotiable $995 charge for a ceramic coating ( that probably was being sold at a 300% mark up) and a $1200 wheel, tire and glass protection package. When asked why this was standard—I was told by the salesman that during the pandemi—BW Jr didn’t want to be a “crook” and charge a market adjustment fee to his dealers—but instead wanted to make his customers feel better by getting something for the pleasure of buying a car at BW. When I told them I wasn’t interested in paying over sticker I was told to pound sand and good luck. It’s shady, 1k for ceramic coating (that has an actual cost to the dealer for probably 25% of that fee) is BW JR’s way of making more money though a market adjustment.Decided to drive to Peoria and pick up a Lexus instead.Buyer beware

Jared in sales and Scott in finance are fantastic! I recently came in to purchase a new car and they both made the process so easy. I get a new car every 2 years and going into the dealership is always dreaded. They made me feel so comfortable during the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new Honda!

We have a Honda Fit 2019 and BW has taken very very good care of us. A few years back we had a Nissan that we had bought from them then had a ton issues...all of which culminated in us needing to trade it in and buy a new car (I blame a lemon Nissan vehicle not BW for the issues). Anyhow they took care of us. Put us in this wonderful Fit and we have been happy ever since. We take our car in for regular checkups. Today's oil change and check up was for our upcoming road trip to the East coast. The first time our little red Fit will be stretching her legs. They did a fantastic job of checking/topping off all our fluids, changing our wipers and repairing a nail in our tire. Put my mind at ease!! Staff is friendly, honest, expedient.

This has been the best dealership experience I’ve come across. First of all they were able to secure a very difficult to find vehicle for me at a very reasonable price in todays crazy market. Afterwards Chris Jesse (gm) has been incredibly communicative and accommodating to install additional accessories. Very professional team will buy again from this dealership even though it’s a 2 hour drive for me. THANK YOU.Edit: Thank you Chris(sales) and Scott(finance) for making this a great buying experience.

We were traveling from out of state when our alternator went out. We arrived over an hour before they were officially open but we were welcomed and taken to a restaurant to have breakfast while they evaluated our vehicle. They proceeded with the repair as quickly as possible. We were back on the road within 4 hours...much quicker than we expected. Every person that we saw greeted us cordially and wished us well as we continued our travels.

Driving cross-country and warning light came on. Have had issues in past, and wasn't sure if this was a problem I needed to worry about. So I just came by the place at 8AM - no appointment. Max took a look, verified that everything was OK for me to continue my trip, and had me on way in about 10 minutes. WONDERFUL! Just the sort of customer oriented service that all dealers should aspire to. Thanks.

Stay away from the service department! I bought an Odyssey from them, check engine light came one while still under warranty. They told me to bring in it because it should be covered by the warranty. Take it in and am told they charge $165 if not covered but that will be put towards any work or parts needed. Come back a crack in an engine part, they then tell me not covered, charge the $165 and will not let me put it towards any parts or labor EXCEPT over $400 in labor that my mechanic did for $38. Thanks for stealing my money and another set of fake promises. Go to Naperville or Dekalb and save yourself time and money.

****** Buyer Beware******* spent 45k cash on a new Honda have had issues since they "fixed" it and now being told it's out of warranty. it's a 2019 honda pilot with extended warranty & only 70k miles on it. This place is a joke. even if you have to pay a little extra go somewhere that has respect for their customers.

Needed a car asap. My 99 Grand Prix was leaking brake fluid all over. 198,000 miles. Went in and car buying in 2022 is messed up. in 2022 not much new inventory as everyone is preordered. Used inventory tight also. I was looking for a 2-3 year old reliable car. Found a 2020 Civic which was what I needed. Low miles and Honda certified. Salesman Jared and Scott business manager made the usually distasteful auto dealer experience, a pleasant experience. No hard sell, explained everything. Car was priced a little under KBB. Very satisfied and in 3 years hopefully the auto inventory has caught up so I can trade up. Will certainly go there first. Thanks for everything. Oh They give you free car washes so I’ll be going up there and getting my car washed today

Mandy in service was so amazing, kind and helpful. We had car troubles and were far from home, fortunately we made it to Bill Walsh. Mandy was terrific in her communication with us and the warranty company to get our car repaired while we were back at home. We can't thank her enough for her knowledge, help and kindness.
