Prairie Fox Books is a cute little book shop in downtown Ottawa. It is an amazing bookstore with a wonderful selection of books, gifts, and local authors. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, classy, and beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have good prices, extensive inventory, and employee picks. The shop is a true community treasure, welcoming to all, and hosts wonderful events like book signings. It is the perfect place to shop for books, gifts, cards, and treats.

Great vibes for the most part, love the inclusiveness and community work they do. Just wish they would stop supporting that transphobe by displaying/selling Harry Potter stuff. Hard to feel like its a truly welcoming place to lgbtq+ people when theres hogwarts stuff all over.
