The USPS in Ottawa blamed USPS Streator for an error that that Ottawa made. The postmaster Tomas sent mail that was supposed to be signed and validated by the owner that it was received to his childhood home area. What’s quite funny is that if you google the address in google or Apple Maps there is only one address that it would send you to that is in Streator. He personally gave me the coordinates to the trailer park that he was raised in so that I could do the job of the USPS cannot seem to do at all and find the important letter sent for one of our properties. They have in the USPS system for Ottawa that it was received and kept in Ottawa. I have paper proof and can gather three witnesses that have the same knowledge about it. I had to speak to the owner of the trailer park that the postmaster Tomas was raised in in Ottawa and not only that the female employee and him who were quite difficult to work with and I would never trust my mail with this locations USPS or postmaster Tomas who supervises that specific building who admitted in person that they “Sometimes we have mail for other buildings near by sent to the wrong building and they send someone to give the mail back and we send it back to the place it’s supposed to go after we made the error here ourselves.” The amount of gaslighting is high coming the postmaster. They made fun of my mothers English and laughed at her in the face when trying to find out where the letter went to both the female employee and him but when I came here to ask the same questions because I speak perfect English and will not be bullied by USPS employees then they started to not laugh at all and do their given duties as employees on denial and gaslighting on a letter.

I had an issue with a package that was missing in the mail weeks ago a gentleman answered the phone Thursday n tried his best to help me find it for 2 days mind you i had no trackin number and only a date...he was so amazing, doin his best to find it, returned my calls when he said he was gonna, asked coworkers like he said he would, found helpful information for me to follow up with n ultimately he found most of the details i needed...i wish i remembered his name...he thanked me for being so patient n understanding, mentioning most ppl scream and yell at them. Its a crazy world we live in today n i feel i got alot further by being understanding.

This is a great location, which is close to where my husband and I were staying while he was working here. The employees are very helpful and friendly. This is a nice size post office, and whatever you need to ship, they have it. :-)

This usps location is the best I’ve experienced. And the gentleman Brennan that works there is above and beyond. Please give that man a raise. On multiple occasions he has made the dread of going to the post office a more bearable experience.

This is the most unprofessional and chaotic post office I’ve ever had to deal with. I am here on a daily basis and there is always a line because they are never prepared for the amount of traffic they see. I’ve been waiting on a package from them all day today, checked the tracking, and saw that it was undeliverable at 10:32 this morning. I was most definitely at my job, where the package was to be delivered, at that time. I’ll be up there first thing Monday to raise hell because now I have to wait for two days for a package that was supposed to be delivered today.

Awful. Had Postal Money order for under $400 needed to cash it. The gentlemen told me he didn't have the money and there was nothing I can do?
