“We’ve taken our pets to Chessie lane for over 13 years. We trust Dr Lendy. He’s great with our dogs. In the past couple of years they sold to a big corporation which is never desirable for clients because prices go up, staff is reduced, and the most important thing becomes profits vs pet care. The cost of X-rays and labs have doubled. It becomes tougher to take animals in because of cost and dr availability. We understand that Dr Lendy will need to retire and pass the torch at some point, we just hated to see our Small Town vet become a big corporation that no longer accepts after hours calls for emergencies, same day appts, and short staffing. Just before the change - Dr Brod saved one of our dog’s life. That same situation today would most likely not have produced the same care and results. None the less - we have no plans to change since our dogs are over 13 years old and nearing the end of their lives and we plan to stay with Dr Lendy for as long as he is there!”
