Took my truck in to get undercoating done to help prevent rust. I went to pick my truck up and did an inspection and noticed several spots missed. They took it back in to redo the process and still didn't hit half of what was missed the first time. Brought up how it was missed again and I was told it's due to everyone new and it wasn't going to get any better.

If you’re considering Ziebart Ottawa, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
My Mach-E was damaged by one of their own employees while in their care. Instead of taking full responsibility and ensuring the vehicle was repaired properly, they tried to steer the process toward a lowball solution—refusing to authorize repairs at the qualified garage I selected (Gerber Collision in Pontiac). The damage included front-end impact and sensor issues, and their response was evasive and dismissive.
Despite a verbal agreement from the store manager, they dragged their feet and made the situation unnecessarily difficult. Thankfully, USAA stepped in and handled the claim professionally. But the fact that I had to involve my own insurer for something that was clearly their fault is unacceptable.
This isn’t just about poor service—it’s about a complete lack of accountability. If you read a polished response from the manager after this review, know that it’s PR spin. The real experience was frustrating, costly, and avoidable.
Ziebart may offer useful services, but if something goes wrong, you’re on your own. I strongly recommend finding a provider that stands behind their work and treats customers with integrity.

They did do an Excellent job on undercoating. However we should have taken photos of our car outside before dropping off. It came back scrape marks. Had to 'Convince Him' to buff it out: then we realized it would be in our 'Best Interest' to take it to Carl's Auto Body in Ottawa. Carl's did a good job, originally wanted $125, Only ended up charging us $75. Thanks to Carl's! Just take photos, they did do a good job. (just being fair & honest)

Outstanding service technicians, wonderful product love. It can't imagine going without it. I had the interior done, the exterior and the undercoating. Fantastic The staff there was just wonderful. Too bad they don't have one of these in the quad cities.😃

Had my truck paint ceramic coated, undercoated and soundproofed in 2023. I was told then that an annual maintenance on it would be needed and was included in the original price after the 1st year to touch up all coatings to keep the warranty intact. I also received a post card stating after 1 year, I had 60 days from the original application date to bring the truck in for this maintenance. On the Ziebart website it states the vehicle will be inspected for any needed maintenance.
At the time of scheduling my appointment or dropping off the vehicle, NO mention was made of any monetary charges nor are there any posted prices in the shop for maintenance procedures.
The staff told me they would wash the undercarriage of the vehicle, touch up the undercoating, soundproofing and apply a rejuvenating material to the ceramic coating WITHOUT seeing the vehicle first or mentioning any cost involved.
Upon arriving to pick up my vehicle I was informed there would be a $210.00 charge for the maintenance performed. The staff member who was there was not the same person who sold me all the services originally and could not help me with finding any other solution other than paying the amount in order to get my vehicle back.
These are all very Deceptive commercial business practices. I cannot recommend this company and will be contacting the attorney general's office with a complaint about the deceptive advertising and hidden costs regarding the matter.

Called asked for a WRITTEN ESTIMATE to be emailed to me for my work vehicle for tinted windows.
No email ever was sent.
I then drove to this location and specifically asked for the same thing and the rude counter person gave me a business card and wrote $375 on it.
Extremely unprofessional considering how many vans we own and how much business I could do with them.
I called a competitor the next day and before I hung up with them I had a written estimate in my email and their estimate was $20 cheaper.
We WILL be using that company due to their professionalism.

Customer service was good. That being said, I had them replace a 2005 Jeep Wrangler front windshield, and the black seal around the inside of the windshield was coming off and melting when picked up. I ended up fixing it myself on the ride home. Excellent customer service, but would like to see more care in the repairs especially for the price.

Had my 2023 Sierra brought in, brand new truck. I got the trucks undercoating done and it was terrible! The exhaust, wheels, and drive shaft just covered. Would have been nice to know a job like this was going to be done like this I would have pay someone else.

I chose to have my 2015 Silverado rustproof and under coated and not only does it protect but makes the vehicle look cleaner when you don't see rusty suspension or frame . Always prompt service and a friendly owner.
