Needed last minute Christmas cash. Online hours were not correct, and they would not answer the phone to verify holiday hours. So I drove there and arrived at 12:07, in time to be locked out and watch all the tellers pack up after they closed at noon.Gee, if only there was some sort of internet option where companies could notify their customers of their holiday hours so as to not waste everyone’s time….?But not to worry, their competing bank across the street was open until 3 and helped me out!

Worst bank ever. If there was a less than a zero star I would give them. Poor poor customer service. One time I forgot my wallet inside while doing a transaction and I left at 5:00 pm and 5:02 I realized I did not have it. I stood by the door trying the open the door , waving, knocking and the manager saw me and so did the banker but never even bothered to open the door. They ignored me and kept doing the work. This continued for 10 minutes. I realized to maybe try the drive thru and I kept pushing the bell in the hope someone will open the window or something. After a minute, my wallet comes out of the transaction drawer. So pathetic, I would appreciate a apology that they kept ignoring a customer. Also they have the worst interest rates, I had huge amount of funds in my checking account and all I was getting $1/month. No one bothered to call me to check to see if I want to move the funds in savings or maybe possibly get a CD so maybe I can earn that extra couple dollars. I have had the account for past 6 years. and I just realized its barely any interest given.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This bank is an absolute nightmare. The bankers have ZERO Authority to do ANYTHING. They have to call for permission for anything. Actually, he tried to get me to just go home and call this 800 number to resolve my problem. Haha, no. I should be able to resolve any banking disputes in person with a banker at my branch. We have moved all of our accounts to Citibank, with the exception of one, that was my first mistake. I am actually sitting here 51 minutes after sitting down listening to the banker on the phone with "another department". One should not need to commit hours to something that should simply be good customer service.

WORST BANK IN IL. First of all, try calling the branch and you are immediately directed to their call center, where they can not do anything for you UNLESS YOU VISIT A BRANCH! And the customer service when you do call will cut you off or misdirect you. In one instance, they could not even reach a bank employee at a branch themselves!!! It has been a nightmare helping close my mother's account, it has been three months, and I am still dealing with red tape left over from banking at Harris. Trust me, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I had opened an account with my fiance and we were ensured by the personal banker who opened the account that we are eligible for the promotion he gave us on our account. After direct depositing the required amount and meeting the requirements I was told that I was ineligible because my fiance already has an account. This is something the personal banker already knew when opening the account.

Can't do business banking here. Tried to get information from the 800 number and had to talk with local Palatine branch who didn't call back. Not a good bank for business.
