Zero stars. I didn't receive good service here. No follow up on the resolution of my issue. Also, seems to be completely understaffed.

Just try call - you will be frustrated beyond belief! No answer - several computer driven questions and then you are disconnected. Then the Chat feature on-line is overloaded. No apologies and unacceptable.

I've used Citibank for years, here in the US, and in South American cities as well. I was sorry to see the branch office in Des Plaines close and move to Park Ridge, but I have to say the new facilities are very pleasant, the automated banking in the lobby is very comprehensive, and the staff have always treated me well. This seems to be hallmark for Citibank, because the foreign offices were friendly and competent as well. A bonus that I always look forward to is the complimentary espresso. It is real espresso and you can prepare it as a regular coffee size and strength drink or in the traditional, supercharging small espresso size cups.

The worst bank I have ever used!!!!!!!! As a business owner I never give bad reviews, but they are the worst. They are unprofessional and act like they know everything. I am so happy I use other banks. Stay away from this branch!!! I have never seen such incompetent employees. I have to give them 1 star because I cannot give them 0!

I gave one star... but is should be "0". I have been a Citibank client since 1991. We have business accounts, personal accounts, and credit cards thru Citibank. Anytime you go to the Palantine branch, the manager is rude, and indicates you need an appointment. When you try to set an appointment, the manager indicated that he cannot help you. Vernon Hills, Arlington Heights, and Schaumburg do not require an appointment to handle notarizing documents, business changes, personal banking chages...etc. The manager is arrogant and does not want to do any work. He redirects any request to the client, and ask them to fill out paper documents and mail them to the address indicated on the form. I needed to see the banker so I coud have the address and my maden name updated to mar.ried name When I indicated that I wanted them done in the branch so that changes would take effect immediately, he told I needed an appointment. When I tried to scheduled an appointment, he told me he could not help me because I did not have appropriate documentation. I brought the appropriate documentation that the customer service represtative instructed me to bring over the phone prior to my branch vist. ... Needless to say, corporate Citibank (800 phone number) told me they would contact the regional director. Hopefully this get eliminate the horrible management, and the clients can receive better service. (I am writing this review since I called the corporate number, and they couldn't pull up this branch in their system, and I had to provide the street address, cross street, and zip code)..... Time to look for a new bank!

As a customer of Citibank for many years, with multiple accounts, I was extremely disappointed with the service for a very simple request. Went in to have something notarized. Had identification and Citibank card ready. One other patron in the bank. Multiple employees working. Asked for a notary. Notary came out extremely dismissive and not very helpful. She was uninformed and rude. Left went to Niles branch, couldn't be nicer. We have multiple accounts at the Park Ridge Branch. So annoying to have to go to another branch to have this simple service taken care of. Park Ridge needs a good refresher course in customer service! Very annoying and unprofessional.
