I had an awkward conversation at Palatine location with the clerk, and it made me SMH. And to make it worse, my wife laughed because she couldn’t believe the clerk had zero interest in my question and had no time to investigate or ask another team member for help…and lost a large sale.
I was going to buy four bottles of special blend of well known Tenn Whiskey…$600 sale. But after the interaction, and my wife’s incredulous reaction, I decided my money would be better spent elsewhere. I would also add, that Garfield’s would be better represented if their staff were better trained and had an interest in their customers needs.

Nice little chain that at least in their Suburban locations usually has some good stuff that might be harder to find and always reasonable prices

Went to the champagne tasting event and was not disappointed. Great selection of champagnes with very knowledgeable people. Really glad I went! The food served was good, but much of it was cold.
