The man working in the deli department is not nice. His manners are edgy and downright rude. Sorry but this is true.Big guy with tattoos...been there a long time. No hi, no thank you, no asking may i help you, snooty flippant comments back at you....it's almost laughable at times I feel like saying to him "are you alright dude?" I'm embaraessed for him. If someone from Jewel cares about what I'm saying...you should look into this.I wouldn't waste time writing this if it wasn't really really bad.I just wouldn't. Thanks for reading.

Clean, plenty of parking and great bakery. But that's where it stops. The sales prices on a lot of their food does not ring up correct at the register. The cashiers as of late are slow and unhappy at best. Their prices are higher than other Jewel's so will be going to downtown Jewel which does have less selection but much nicer people and prices are a bit better. Its a shame because 5-7 yrs ago really liked this place.

The whole place is slow...Connie the cashier could not be any more like molasses than she is. The sale prices that you see on the shelves never ring up at the register correct. I will be going to the downtown Palatine branch which has less selection but much nicer people by far. This place has been going downhill for yrs. 8 yrs ago maybe 3 star now 1. Wake up and get moving people.

This is the best Jewel-Osco out of all the Jewel-Osco’s now meat department here is the best the employees there are the best they help me find some thing they’ve been trying to find for 20 years it’s called Kevin special. Unfortunately they don’t have it anymore but the two employees were very helpful in finding everything else I needed best employees ever

Been going to this Jewel my whole life and this is the best I’ve seen it! Specifically the produce department is what has makes this my go-to store. Being a private chef, I love the great selection of fresh, quality ingredients. I will admit a couple of years back I had switched to Mariano’s, however, as of late, everything has been super clean, organized and only the best product seems to make it to the shelves which makes my life so much easier being in a rush to get my ingredients efficiently. Employees at this store are always a great help. Qazi, who specifically stands out, always goes above and beyond when I see him to help me get what I need.

Me and my wife were a couple of dollars short for our purchase. Our cashier whose name is rowhana(I'm sure that's not the spelling, I apologize ma'am) used her own money to make up the difference. Thank you so much and we truly do appreciate you!!

Shopping at jewel is kind of a mixed experience. The store is fine, prices tend to be fairly high for stuff that's not actively on sale. There are plenty of savings with their app and digital coupons however there are a bunch of annoyances with using those. The annoyance you can't avoid is that most of those coupon prices only show up at the very end of the checkout process- you don't get to see what price you're paying as you're scanning items instead you'll get to the end and it'll give you a list of 15 or 20 discounts with no good indication of what they applied to or whether you got every price you were expecting. In addition you can only sign into their app by receiving an email message so you're out of luck if you don't have the email account linked to your phone. They also have a web app, but to see a list of all the coupons that you have clipped you have to scroll to the very end of the list of coupons and all the clipped ones show up there. Note that scrolling all the way to the end means that you have to hit load more, load more, load more, load more, load more, load more, repeat as necessary every time you get to the end of the list that it's let you see so far. It's hard to say whether the user unfriendly features are intentional to make coupon use more difficult or if it's just an application built by people who do not ever actually use it in the real world - or perhaps they are just not allowed to fix it because of bureaucracy.

Funny experience. I could not find a price tag on this product or on the shelf. I found a lady at the "fresh flower" section, and I said "excuse me". Maybe she could help me to find the price. She replied, "what". Lol. When a customer says "excuse me", the employee usually says "yes", "what can I do for you?", or "how can I help you?" Is this how Jewel Osco employees talk to their customers now? Funny
