This is a quality resale store with helpful, friendly workers. They went above and beyond to help us find everything we were looking for. We look forward to more shopping adventures.

While I greatly appreciate their mission, I simply do not understand how people who work there can be just down right rude and dismissive when making donations. This has not been a one time impression, I donate here every season and it is never a pleasant experience. Never a thank you (not that I donate to get a thank you) but always an attitude...

I go here with my mom about twice a month. The staff is nice and helpful. And the store is well displayed. We always find a good deal on something. I've had success in getting good quality shoes here. Sue, the manager, is friendly and enjoyable to talk with. And always remembers our names

I have mixed feelings about this store. It’s very clean and well organized, and it doesn’t have that gross thrift store smell. But I feel the offerings are underwhelming and overpriced. I’ve been here 4 times and only bought 1 thing.

We entered the store on a Saturday earlier this spring. Nobody greeted us even when I began to peruse some jewelry, which was located right next to the check-out counter. Two women stood there talking to each other, but said nothing to us. I moved over to a nearby rack. Another worker walked right in front of me. She didn't bother greeting me either. The two at the cash register were loudly gossiping about another person whom they knew, and they were soon verbally ripping on this person. This was all within earshot of the customers! I walked over near the register on the other side to look at more sale items. By this time a third worker had joined their conversation. Still no greeting/inquiry about assistance, despite me standing within mere feet of the register. I didn't feel like browsing any longer, so we promptly left. Disappointing.

Great charity but they just let the entire staff go at the palatine location. No explanation given and HR doesn’t respond. We were coldly told to get our things and get out, not sure why?

I frequent a lot of thrift stores in the area so I would like to think I have a good idea of what makes one worth returning to. This store overall is cluttered and dingy. The toy section is a jumbled mess and it was difficult to even find the different clothing sections. There clearly isn't much care in maintaining the store. But what's more, the service here is terrible. I stood at the register for more than 5 minutes while the staff clearly within view shuffled papers and rearranged clutter. When I finally caught their attention, they snapped at ME for not doing it sooner. Shouldn't they be more attentive? I wouldn't deign to donate to much less shop at this place. I vastly prefer going a town over to Community Threads (which is in the same network of thrift stores) for the better upkeep and actually friendly service.
