Vca staff at worth IL animal hospital..how dare u insult me and my dog..his past history incidents were provoked no fault of my dogs .shame on you for replying the way you did .just another reason I'll let people know how you treat you're clients .my dog was muzzled at visits he had no problem later that day with mobile female groomer ,whom clipped his nails. No issues at all ..such an incompetent staff at this place..sad excuse for a veterinarian facility..I should have went down the road a few blocks to a better place. Good ridence....

We were running out of test strips for our diabetic cat and where we ordered from would not deliver till Monday. We have a cat that is 16 years old and diabetic for 7 of them. VCA was listed as having the test strips in stock. We called and a wonderful, sweet, kind lady named Elle understood my problem. She talked to the Tec and was able to sell the test strips. I have spent 2 days calling and going from place to place to try and get these. I have been in customer service for 40 years and Elle is an exception. She goes above and beyond to help a stranger and now a future customer. We cannot thank her enough because her service made such a huge difference. Her smile made me smile all the way home and grateful. Maybe she could get employee of the month. Thank you Judy H

I am a brand new patient. Another vet said my two (relatively young) Havanese needed four surgeries, I contacted VCA for a second opinion. Dr. Lihosit was so knowledgeable and thorough and kind to my girls that I am now a permanent client. I am disabled and could not be there myself. But, the doctor and the tech called four times in an hour to ask questions and keep me updated. I especially loved how Dr. Lihosit didn't just give a diagnosis (no surgery needed), she explained WHY and HOW she made that diagnosis. Extremely impressed! The tech doing intake was super kind and committed to getting things right. What I loved is that they asked questions that no other vet or hospital has ever asked. Like, how much water does she drink. A simple thing, and hydration is so important, but no one ever asked!

VCA Worth is way too expensive. I spent $13.45 for Metoclopramide 11 tablets at another hospital while VCA charged me for 10 & a half tablets for $36.04. Then the tablets at VCA were cut into quarters for an extra $1.10 which I did not ask for. The other hospital gave me a free pill cutter.

Your staff is exceptional. I brought a husky in today that was hit by a vehicle. He unfortunately passed enroute while being turned away from a few other places in the area. Thank you all for caring enough to rush out and check on him. You will forever get referrals from me because of this. ? Great human beings work here.

I've seen a few different vets over the past few years and each and every one of them is very friendly, caring and patient. They're good with my dog and answer all my questions without trying to rush me. They're very good overall in regard to seeing my dog and me at or very close to my appointment time.

This animal hospital is so nice and treats the animals like their own when brought in. It's clean and comfortable in the waiting room too. Good to have an animal hospital that we can count in the area. Thank you.

OMG today was a great day for our Duke, he got to meet the staff at the hospital and loved everyone. He was treated like a little king. His experience today will make his future visits welcomed. A special shout out to Dr. Loxtercamp who took the time to explain all the new puppy info and making sure our little guy (for now) is healthy. Definitely 2 thumbs up.

Thank you to the staff at VCA Worth for taking my Simba w/o an appointment a couple of months ago when I thought his heart was failing. The staff was very kind and made me feel comfortable. I especially want to thank Dr. Nystrom for taking my shih-tzu as a last minute patient. She took such great care of him. Dr. Nystrom went above and beyond to take the best care of Simba and gave me the best advice, honest advise and straight forward with me. I would highly recommend VCA Worth to anyone looking for a caring place to care for your animal.

This place is clearly out to get as much money from you as they possibly can. Beware of the doctor being vague when taking about services. I brought my dog in a month ago for annual checkup and shots. The doctor asked if I wanted to get a flu shot for the dog. I asked how much the s*** would be and the doctor told me $56.00. I thought that was a little high but the doctor insisted that the flu was going around and I should take preventative care. After the appointment was done, I was informed that I would have to come back in a month for the second booster shot for the flu vaccine. When they called to confirm my return appointment for the shot they told me that we were set up for the booster shot as well as another appointment the doctor. When I told them that I just wanted the s*** and that I didn't think the dog needed to be seen by the doctor again (since he was just examined a month ago) they became a little snarky on the phone but said that I could just bring him in for the shot. Approximately 5 minutes after I dropped him off for the shot I received a text message from them stating that I could click a link in order to pay my bill for the shot.... Which was $57.05. when I called the desk I spoke with the girl who had sent me the text message bill. I started to question the bill and she immediately handed the phone over to her supervisor Cathy. It was pretty obvious to me that they were expecting me to call and question the bill. Cathy told me that the bill was correct because I cancelled the doctor appointment and therefore they were charging me more for the shot. I told her the doctor had quoted me a different price. Cathy just stated that that was the price and there was nothing else to be said. This is the third dog that I have had and have brought them all to this vet for the past 15 years. I had a weird feeling when I spoke to the vet during the appointment last month about them trying to upsell me. She even mentioned that I might want to take the dog to a dentist in the future. I hope the $28.00 was worth it for them to lose a long time customer.
