“2024 I dropped by Mokena Video one day, and it completely impressed me. With a Blu-ray/DVD player at home, I enjoy renting movies and watching them at my leisure. There's something special about being able to pause and rewind if I miss something. Despite having three smart TVs for streaming, it doesn't quite compare to the experience of browsing physical rentals, and it's not as cost-effective. I have a fondness for both current releases and classics, as it feels like stepping into a time machine and experiencing different eras. Video Bob, the owner of Mokena Video, curates an incredible selection of films, many of which are unavailable elsewhere. It's unfortunate that movie rental shops are disappearing, leaving all movies under the control of big corporations. Netflix has even halted their DVD mailing service, and Redbox has limited selection in their machines, though streaming options are available at a higher cost. If Video Bob can hang on a bit longer, he could establish an exclusive business that may thrive in the near future. I truly hope there's a resurgence in this area. DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K players are affordable and durable, lasting for many years. It would be a shame to see this valuable resource disappear forever! Chuck Jager”

“Stopped by recently to check this place out and was I surprised. Reasonable prices, friendly employees & great assortment. I will be back again and again. Surprised that more people don’t come here it’s totally discreet and easy to find.”

“It is conveniently located off 55 near 83. It's right between Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills. The parking lot isn't huge, so be careful and watch for drivers zig zagging and running the stop signs. It gets nuts sometimes. I usually buy sale items or necessities. It's nice too because there's a Starbucks inside. Cashiers are friendly, and the self checkout moves pretty quickly.”

“Jewel-Osco I really like this store. Why? Good customer service. Always quick to let you know they will help you as soon as possible, which for me is a big deal. They seem to be fully stocked, they are busy but not crowded. Relaxing, spacious, well organized and easy to find things. The price is really reasonable. it's pretty standard. It has most everything you'd expect to find at one. ALWAYS clean and I am especially impressed with their butcher department. Always having time to help their customers. The produce department seems to have fresh chicken. And wide selection of fresh vegetables. one of the best grocery stores I've ever used.”
