Went there for the first time based on a recommendation. Loved my haircut. Very clean attractive salon in a nice location with parking close. Employees were very friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Making my second appointment today.

Love the way Donna cuts my hair. It seems no one else understands how to overdirect the sides. She is Great!

Looks like I'm not the only one with problems with inconsiderate people with their search and rescue flood lights. I have One Park Place's floods pointing right at my house. Blinds me driving out of my driveway, and in my house at night during trips to the bathroom, and while I'm in the kitchen cooking. Like having a semi's high beams shining at my house all night. Have some common decency people! The complex already looks like a cheap used car lot with lights every few feet, now your paranoid asses have to add search and rescue lights on top of it? And, you can't even spring for ones with motion sensors? They're blaring all night long! I asked 2 of the businesses in the complex to rectify. Nothing! I'm surprised they haven't blinded motorists yet. They should outlaw those things, or at minimum, require them to be pole-mounted, facing the owners building or dwelling. That would put a quick end to those obnoxious things. This is taken from the Palos Park Village Ordinances: Bookmark1476.03 LIGHTING LIMITS; DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. (a) No luminaire with a lamp or combined lamps rated at a total of 1100 lumens or less shall, at any time, emit light which shall exceed one-half foot-candle of power at the property line. Such a luminaire shall have a maximum mounting height of twenty-five feet and, if the lamp is aimed, directed or focused such as to cause direct light from the luminaire to be a nuisance to residential buildings on adjacent or nearby land, or to create glare perceptible to persons operating motor vehicles on public ways, the luminaire shall be redirected or its light output controlled as necessary to eliminate such conditions. (b) No luminaire with a lamp or combined lamps rated at a total of more than 1100 lumens shall, at any time, emit light which shall exceed one-half foot-candle of power at the property line. The light- emitting portion of such a luminaire shall not be visible at the property line and shall be mounted at a height equal to or less than the value 3 + D/3, where D is the distance in feet to the nearest property boundary. The maximum height of the luminaire shall be eighteen feet. (Ord. 1995-17. Passed 5-22-95.) Other ppl with inconsiderate neighbors:
