Nice experience. We stayed 2 nights this past weekend. Wasn’t sure what to expect from a little roadside motel for only $62/night - but the reviews were good and we were quite pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Our room was very clean (#1 criteria on our list!), and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for our suitcases and 3 big drawers for our stuff. Small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and access to an extensive channel list on TV, including HBO+Cinemax. We were happy to find the bathroom had ample space and a shelf to spread out toiletries, a small shelf in shower, and towel-drying hook. Seems like pretty basic stuff, but so many hotels are missing these little touches, and having them makes the stay that much more pleasant. The staff was lovely — they even let us borrow a wine opener for the day :)The only negative is that, like most old motels, the walls are a bit thin. Fortunately, our room was the last unit in the block so we only had one neighbor. We could hear the murmur of their talking and TV — but thankfully, they were not up late (or early!).Overall, a very positive experience.Rooms: very clean. nicely decorated. ample space. dresser, side tables, desk/chair, and 2 side chairs. Heater/cooler worked very well.

The Inn is older, but we'll maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. An important thing for me, was the cost was half that of the hotel at the South side of town.

This was our first choice decision after our landlord lost our home to auction and the new owner practically doubled our rent which forced us into an eviction. The Highway Inn was a great choice. The rooms are very clean and the beds are a perfect end to a hard days work after a long hot shower. Our extended stay was enjoyable during its full capacity. The firepit was a relaxing place to watch the open skies at night. The owners are always friendly and diligently keeping the appearance in quality standards. There may not be a pool or outside dining, no extras except a great place to stay at a great price. You'll enjoy your stay for the night or the month when you're on a budget and able to find a vacancy at the Highway Inn. A great place to end your day and unwind.
