“Nice experience. We stayed 2 nights this past weekend. Wasn’t sure what to expect from a little roadside motel for only $62/night - but the reviews were good and we were quite pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Our room was very clean (#1 criteria on our list!), and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for our suitcases and 3 big drawers for our stuff. Small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and access to an extensive channel list on TV, including HBO+Cinemax. We were happy to find the bathroom had ample space and a shelf to spread out toiletries, a small shelf in shower, and towel-drying hook. Seems like pretty basic stuff, but so many hotels are missing these little touches, and having them makes the stay that much more pleasant. The staff was lovely — they even let us borrow a wine opener for the day :)The only negative is that, like most old motels, the walls are a bit thin. Fortunately, our room was the last unit in the block so we only had one neighbor. We could hear the murmur of their talking and TV — but thankfully, they were not up late (or early!).Overall, a very positive experience.Rooms: very clean. nicely decorated. ample space. dresser, side tables, desk/chair, and 2 side chairs. Heater/cooler worked very well.”
