Would rate zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service. Sharing photos to show that no matter the time you call, they won’t answer or help. 10am or almost midnight. Each time this morning that I called, I was placed on hold for 20 minutes all together. A woman in the pharmacy department immediately puts you on hold and is very rude, doesn’t bother to pick the phone back up, and then hangs up. This has happened twice today already. I’m currently on hold again just trying to find out why my prescription is delayed. I’ve been on hold for FIFTEEN minutes now as I write this review. All just to ask why my prescription is delayed and have yet to even say anything, I get put on hold that fast. The customer service in the pharmacy department is the WORST experience. Hopefully they get new management or supervisors, especially for the pharmacy department. I recommend getting your prescriptions filled elsewhere — CVS, Costco, or a different Walgreens that actually knows how to multi-task and perform basic customer service.

Never, ever had a problem with this pharmacy. Good experience every time - helpful staff, reasonable wait times, reliable pharmacy staff. 5 stars, unsponsored, of course.

I would give zero stars if I could. The pharmacy refuses to answer the phone. Today I was on hold for 17 minutes only to be hung up on. This happens repeatedly.

I am writing to bring to your attention an unpleasant experience I recently had at the Walgreens pharmacy located at 800 Devon Ave Park Ridge, IL 60068
Upon visiting the pharmacy on April 22nd 2024, I encountered a situation that left me quite disappointed. While seeking assistance from one of your staff members ( cashier ID: 290 Rocio), I was met with rudeness and unprofessional behavior from a lady working behind the counter. Despite approaching her politely and explaining my concerns, her demeanor was dismissive and disrespectful throughout our interaction.
As a regular customer of Walgreens, I have always valued the service and professionalism exhibited by your team. However, this particular experience has left me feeling disheartened and reluctant to continue patronizing your pharmacy.
I believe that every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the circumstances. I trust that you will address this matter promptly and take appropriate steps to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding the steps taken to address my concerns.

Scheduled my Shingle & Tetanus shots at this location. The pharmacist and Technicians were courtesy and professional. A Good experience!

Dislike that I can come in and purchase items. Yet can’t use the bathroom. I literally had a delayed flight. Started my menstrual cycle and couldn’t even use the bathroom. Had to wait until I went back to the airport. If I lived in this city I wouldn’t patronize this location. If more places were open I wouldn’t give them any of my money.

I've been on the phone for 30 minutes attempting to quickly confirm a prescription is ready for pickup. The lady at the pharmacy who answered the phone really quickly said, "Walgreen pharmacy pl", then without finishing her sentence, I was put on hold. This happened 10 times in a row until I was then sent back to the overseas phone operators who answered with "Hi, are you calling for the Best Buy gift card?" Slightly baffled, I said "No, I was on hold for the walgreens pharmacy", to which he then transfered me back. This time around, the exact same thing happened with the lady picking up the phone but not even saying anything before putting me on hold. It's been over 30 minutes, and I am still being put on hold.
This happened between 4:45 and 5:30 on 12/19/2023. Whoever is doing this to phone customers is extremely rude. My call could have been 2 minutes, but instead, I am still on perpetual hold as I'm writing this. Completely unprofessional.

This is the best Walgreens! The staff are so so nice and specifically the night shift crew both at the store and the pharmacy. Noreen the night shift cashier is absolutely amazing.

Seriously the worst Walgreens I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After 2 hours on hold trying to talk to someone in the pharmacy that screwed up insurance claims for prescriptions I got hung up on, again. Their staff needs to be retrained. I understand being understaffed but someone needs to answer the phones. It is completely unacceptable that they refuse to answer the phones and continuously just place you on hold.The pharmacy staff also keeps making mistakes like not mixing antibiotics for my kids. Or filling the wrong medicines. You have to double check anything you get from this Walgreens. Hopefully they don’t hurt someone one day from their gross incompetence.

Had an appointment for a rapid flu test. Pharmacy was unaware that these tests are administered by them (although the sign stating such was posted next to where we were talking). Waited over an hour to take the test. Another 30 minutes for results.

Customer service is the worst! Been sitting on the drive tru for the past hour and 15mins now. Only one car in front of me and that car has been here almost 40mins. This store team have to setup their phase please.

The pharmacy operations at this Walgreens is woefully poor. Understaffed, phone system never works, Rx filled offsite and often late. I don't have an issue with the staff; it's that the business model doesn't work.Update, the clinic model doesn’t work well either. Just checking in took 15 min even though I completed everything online.
