Worst post office. I fully blame the employee/employees here. I had the worst experience I've ever had at any post office. I was disrespected by a female employee here. Normally, I'm not dramatic or pay much attention to this. I understand we all have bad days. However, it was out of line and wasn't the first or even second time I had an unpleasant experience here. I kept coming to this location due to the convenience of it and the time they opened. 30 minutes before other post offices. To be honest, more like 10 - 20 minutes before due to the time it would take the morning employee to attend the window. Most usps locations have had lovely employees. You will NOT find that at this location.

The experience with them was a nightmare. I had mailed a paper that was really important to Mexico and I paid $75.50 12/13/21. To this day I have no idea where the paper is, I made a report and they sent me to the post office of Bell Gardens CA they told me that they couldn't do anything and too call FedEx. FedEx told me that they couldn't help me and that issue was for the post office and the post office told me it was an issue of FedEx. Nobody wants to give me a refund for my money and nobody wants to help, and they discriminate me and nobody is helping me. I have all of the documents that they gave me.

This place is very old and has little parking. Don't come here the last hour it will always be packed. They had 2 staff on a Tuesday and the line was still out the back door. Per their notices they are not taking passport applications by walk in anymore only appointments.

***Please be kind y'all. We're all frustrated, but dont take it out on others....leave your crap at home and do your job. Be professional...**** I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in this location. I am an older person with visual impairments, I don't like to disclose because I'm able to do things ...just takes more effort but I dont mind because I pride myself in being able to get things done. I do ask for help when I actually need it. I needed help in this situation but I was shut down and turned away. I called USPS with a tracking number, the phone automated said my package was at this location, I thought it was weird too. I called twice to make extra sure. I arrived at 10:45 am... The door had a paper saying they'll be back in 15 minutes, I waited. The lady in the front was EXTREMELY RUDE. WITH OUT looking up my tracking number she told me I was in the wrong post office, didn't tell me where to go and CLAIMING I was in the wrong post office. I tried to explain how I was given this address by USPS automated service which I called, and I was YELLED at to "SHOW ME THE APPLICATION WHERE DOES IT TELL YOU THAT"....I felt so unheard and not seen. Please, if you work for customer service. Please do that. you're there to help. If you don't like your job, then get a new one. What could have been done differently: looked up my tracking number, told me where to go, said sorry for the inconvenience ( pretty generic thing to say in customer service).....the end. no attitude, no shaming and making people feel like they're d*** cus you think you know they are in the wrong place. etc etc etc. Please be kind y'all. We're all frustrated, but don't take it out on others....leave your crap at home and do your job. Be professional.

I'm really sorry but you absolutely cannot hold the line up when people drive all the way over there simply because someone catches and attitude with you. Dismiss their remarks help people and go about your day. Not sure what her name was but she would not help anyone out until this one individual left. So many people were waiting. When your ego gets hurt m'am brush that sh*t off. Now I have to drive to a whole new location because your ego got hurt and you didn't want to help anyone else out. That's bs.

Dont use the slot, or.leave on the counter, get a receipt! I've lost packages at maywood, downey and now this location. I walk in at 1:59pm and the older lady with the blonde hair said no were close, i told her I just need a receipt and she stated no were closed. So annoyed.

Today it wasn't busy at all! It was pretty empty! They have a lady working the line before you get there to make sure you have all your stuff ready before reaching the window. Honestly helps make the line run smoother I was sending a letter via certified mail so I had to fill out paper work before and I didn't know that. So when I reached the window all I had to do was pay. Pretty easy!

This US Postal office should be s*** down ASAP because the people who are assign to work here they don't work. They take 1 hour breaks and over two hours lunch. Postal inspector these employees needs to be release from their job because they are cheating you claiming lots of hours worked but they don't work. This is my third time here and the office is closed. See picture for your review.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with any postal office location. I walked in with my service animal and the woman who work there would not serve me until the service animal was placed outside the building when I asked if there is signs indicating that my service animal could not be inside of the post office accompanying me she stated that it somewhere on the wall go look for yourself. She walked away I would not help me until I put my service animal outside the building when I returned I had my packages shipped and asked for her name and she refused to give me her name and said I can't do whatever it is that I want to do. I am absolutely speechless at how horrible this person is.

People complaining take note. This post office is literally ran totally by one single person. It use to be two but they never replaced Ms Johnson. That means it may take a moment. If she's talking she's being polite and holding a convo while working. I know it sounds crazy that you can work and talk to a person at the same time but I assure you it can be done. Bring your own s*** they don't provide her with supplies sometimes even change she has to bring in her own most of the time to accommodate you very people complaining. Have the supplies you need it's not her responsibility to buy you tape etc. If she walks away to the back it's probably because she has no one to help her while she uses the restroom or fills the P.O. boxes be patient humans do in fact need occasionally need to use the restroom. Be patient and polite and she'll bend over backwards for you I once accidentally missed a package and she payed and mailed it for me then I paid her back the next time I went try getting that kind of service anywhere these days. So stop bitching and thank this lady for holding the cudahy post office down for you so it doesn't close and your asses have to drive further away.

This review is for everyone who complains.... Jackie (the lady everyone is referring to) is the nicest person ever! She does everything herself and the reason she takes so long is because if they are there for pick up or delivery of mail, she has to step away from the cashier and watch them because they have forgotten to lock up after they leave and then people have robbed them through the back door before. Therefore, everyone in front has to wait until the delivery/pickup is done for her to come back to the cashier. God forbid she wants to protect her life and the store! Second, NO POST OFFICE IS REQUIRED TO GIVE YOU TAPE AND A STAPLER, they're obligated to sell it to you, so she's not doing it to be "rude" or "cheap" by any means... it's the post office policy and she has to follow it. Since when does ANY BUSINESS have to pay for YOUR NEEDS because you don't have the common sense to know you may need tape to package up your box??? She's always there, she's always courteous, she's always late for lunch because she can't close until the last person is checked out.. I mean, what else do you want from her? Then you complain because she opens late when she's barely had time to eat!! Also, she obviously doesn't speak Spanish, which is not her fault, they should provide her with more employees and then people feel she's "rude" because she has no other way to communicate with them. That's a business problem, not hers! So all in all, I think she does an awesome job holding this place together for over 20 years with no help and all by herself! (By the way, I do not know and am not related to Jackie at all. I have been a reg paying customer for years and gained to know her solely through my reoccurring visits just like anyone else.) Maybe if you stopped complaining and tried to see both sides of the story and were more courteous to her as well, you would get a different result! Just a thought.

So having come here more and more times, I now realize that this entire branch is held down by 1 lady; and she does hold it down. Be patient, and she will be patient with you as well. This place is always busy and it's only one person.
