This particular store is notorious for not putting all purchases in the bags. Today was the third time I got home and realized paid-for items were not in the bags. I assume the store knows it would cost me more to go back and defend the missing items. Guess this is how they make money.

Used to be good place to shop, only a little pricey. Prices seem to have come down, but so has the store. Visited the store to take advantage of advertised specials. Buy one get one free Curleys bar b q. Did not have it.. Said I could get a rain check. Customer service closes at 9. I got there a couple minutes after, but found someone there. She issued the rain check...and corrected the fact that I was overcharged for another item I had purchased. Also went for the by one get one free Reeses salads. Didnt have any. Got a rain check. Went back to get the items with the rain checks. Still had to ask the meet department to get the Curleys bar b q from the back. No salads!!! Not going to get any! Why advertise it?? Did not offer a substitute! Wish we had PUBLIX or HI VEE in Champaign!

Extremely disappointed with schnucks ! I ordered a flower arrangement for my wife to be delivered on her birthday and they tried to deliver them a week early . I even called to make sure I had the right date and I did. It ruined her birthday surprise ! I will never order flowers from them again !

The only place we can get Boboli pizza crusts!! It's also nice to have so close to home for last minute stops, but it is too expensive to do all the grocery shopping here.

We ordered a small cake and more than 100 cupcakes for our wedding here. Best decision ever. We spent somewhere around $100 for it all, and that included delivery to our venue. If you plan to go the same route I would talk with Pam, the head baker. While Schnucks doesn't do weddings per say, she worked with me to make our $13 cake look the way I envisioned.

Store review: More grocery options are always a plus. I still can't figure out what grocery store will be my go to location in Champaign. This one has some positives which include a free cookie self serve for kids under 11 with adults present. I was wondering why people were just grabbing a cookie and giving it to their kids to eat. Another nice positive is 50% off donuts after 6 pm. If you like yeast donuts these are pretty good. The store is clean and well lit. The only downside is the prices are average or higher than other locations. I will come here to check it out for deals when I can. Pros: free bakery cookie for kids under 11, 50% off donuts after 6 pm Cons: average prices Hidden deals: Free cookie for kids 50% off donuts after 6 pm You can use internet coupons, but check out the extensive coupon policy on the website. No coupons over 5 dollars, no free item coupons, no 2 coupons on BOGO items, no coupon value over purchase value

Been here three times. They're knowledgeable and friendly thus far; no reason not to like it. And the prices are pretty damn good.

I will avoid this place at all cost because not one, not two, (pardon me LeBron), but three items I went looking for here...not available! Whether they did not carry them or they were out of stock. Nothing like my experience in DeKalb where I loved this store! Interesting side note: It seems like everyone who here is shopping is just yelling... yelling at each other...and I'm not even just talking about children! I'm talking about adult customers and workers! I will stick to Target and Walmart for my Champaign big store trips!

Just left here. The store manager is so fckn rude. As im asking the store manager about the store policy she walks away. If you buy alcohol (with a group) don't go here. They card everyone, even if one person is buying alcohol (which is fxkn d***** Such a waste of time. Will never come back.

I was not impressed. They have a butcher, but their selection of packaged meat is terrible. Absolutely terrible. Very small selection. And EXPENSIVE! This is THE most expensive place in the entire city to buy your groceries. And the cashiers and managers are terrible. They don't know how to stop talking amongst themselves and they are very rude and don't acknowledge their customers. Today I heard a cashier ( with quite an attitude ) say, "Why is (soso) behind my register?" and her manager said "Because she's giving you a lunch break." REALLY?!?! Wow...

I began going here out of convenience, as it is the closest grocery store to my apartment. I wasn't thrilled, because the prices are at least a smidge higher than the rest. What I get in return, though, makes it worth it. There's a nice selection of cheeses, "fresh" fish and meat, and produce. I don't have to sift through and inspect the fruits and veggies to make sure there's no bugs or rotten spots. There was only one instance where I bought some raspberries and there was some fuzz growing on them. Their gas card is a nice little bonus if you're going to be spending the money there anyway. $.05 off per gallon of gas for every $25 spent (pre-tax). I do wish they had a coffee shop inside.

Nice store, but I do have one complaint. It is the only grocery chain that keeps the heat way up. Does not seem it would be good for keeping food fresh.

Best place for produce variety, and love their ground sirloin- but I've had a handful of experiences where their prepackaged lunchmeat and condiments (mayo) being sold past their use by date...which shouldn't happen when I'm paying premium prices.

My favorite spot for Groceries in Champaign, although I usually go to the one in Savoy more often. I think they have the best produce and more options in terms of organic food (aside from the obvious Strawberry Fields and the like). The salad bar, deli, and soups are pretty solid too. I'm a fan. I also really love their gas program. Just for buying groceries there you can get huge discounts at their gas stations. I've gotten $.75 off per gallon a few times, it's awesome.
