This Harbor Freight is well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fewer people go to this store than others in the area, so it was easy in and out. I've never had to wait in line once. There's plenty of parking. As everyone knows by now there are some tools at Harbour Freight that are not quality, however the large majority are quality tools. I personally have many Bauer line tools. They were all affordable and I have used them alot. They preformed as well as some of the more expensive name brands.the Icon line of hand tools are excellent quality. So check out Harbour Freight before the big box stores for tools.

I have shopped there many a time. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and expedient! The are definitely a Best Place to Shop store!

I usually shop at the East Peoria store but I was looking for a particular metal detector which that store didn't have. The Pekin store is much larger and appears to have a larger inventory. So both stores are excellent but Pekin has more products to select from.

Normally I do my shopping at the East Peoria store and they are great down there but they didn't have what I wanted in stock I bought a US general series 3 box it was $554 out the door so I called in advance to make sure that the Pekin store had it in stock so drove down there Saturday went up to the gentleman at the register and said hey I would like this box he tried to convince me that well I am not sure if we have any in stock because we sold a bunch which was a lie because I called 5 hours ahead of time to make sure there was some in stock and there was three and then when he looked it up sure enough it was the same three that was in stock when I called and then he goes on to tell me that since there's only two people working that he wouldn't be able to load me up and I don't know how it is with everybody else but it's kind of hard to find somebody with a truck that has some time so I was upset and I left and I picked it up the next day The funny thing about it it only took one person to load it up with the fork truck so I do believe they need to get better employees down there because there seem rather lazy and honestly I take it probably has to do with management because I talked to a manager the day I picked it up and he really had nothing to say about it like oh well that sucks yeah it could have sucked cuz you guys could have missed out on a 554 purchase because you hire lazy employees but luckily for you guys I really needed that toolbox for work
