Eric, the manager of hardware is amazing!! We had the worst experience in the Spfld store and they were NO help. Eric was overly kind and considerate of the situation and did everything he could to help. Backstory: Spfld sold us a broken beyond repair couch and then sold the floor model so no couch for us. Pekin had the same one in stock but no way to get it to Spfld🙄. Corporate wants a WRITtEN letter explaining the situation dropped in the mail, so that letter is getting sent and I would hope they would offer some type of refund for making us drive 4 hrs round trip to pick one up. By the time they get the letter, I’m sure this couch will be all gone! But Eric is amazing, knows his job and was extremely personable! Thank you Eric!! Springfield needs training from Eric on helping people!!

I'm trying to figure out these rebates... I filled out a half a dozen of them but yet never one of them did I get back in the mail.... Tell me is the mailman keeping them is this all just a scam let me know... I don't even fill them out anymore it's just a waste of my time.... Does anybody else feel like that..

To whom this may concern: (Management), I would like to thank the following employees: Paige and Ian, who work at this Menards, and are always attentive, helpful, kind, respectful , and hard working, who are always ready to help... And I would like their managers to acknowledge them as amazing! Hard working! Because they represent this amazing company with a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐review. And they should be recognized and rewarded with extra compensation for being the quality people that make this company welcoming and a place I rather do business with in preference to other hardware stores. I, thank you again for making my shopping experience a sweet one every time!

Employee watched us come in the door as she was standing by the entrance. Not a word was said as we passed by her while she just looked at us. She let us get far enough inside to grab a cart before she spoke to us and told us they were closed. I'm sure she saw my wife limping along with the knee brace she was wearing. There was another employee standing at the returns desk and she failed to acknowledge us as well. Yes we made the mistake of not checking when they closed but the employees were inconsiderate and rude.

Normally I pretty happy with them, but today they gave a special order $700 shower surround to the wrong person and now I have to wait even longer before I can finish my bathroom. Something I've been waiting 3 weeks for already.

As with all businesses these days, they don't have enough employees. Sometimes it's hard to find items. Wood is hard to pick through sometimes to find good pieces.

I drove an hour and a half to go purchase everything for our dream bathroom that my wife has ben waiting for a long time to get am building a new home ben making blue prints and extensive planning for 3 weeks was going to purchase everything thru menards planned on 6 grand for bath room from the septic line to the exhaust fan in the ceiling. Awfull service at plumbing section . I spent 3 hours in that area . Not one employee offered to help . The young man I stopped to talk to was an idiot walked away when I asked a question about bath tub drain and then an hour and a half later I got fed up left everything setting .Big mistake this was the small project I had . My new home will be purchased elswere . Thanks Menards .
