My wife has been using Derby pawn for over 18 years, anytime we need a loan just to make it to payday or in times of need this is where we go. She calls Rob her "pawn father" and his family that helps run the shop, her "pawn family". Derby pawn is fair on prices and Willing to negotiate prices. Loan interest is fair and timely. If you're behind on a payment just call. This is a family run business and willing to work with you. They understand everyday life and what comes with it. My wife is Sam. I'm sure they know who I'm writing for. I also want to say thank you for always being fair. Only downfall my wife wishes you were open on Mondays. Oh Rob I heard about the puppy kisses. She said there's never a dual moment when she stops by your shop. Lol

Will never do business with this place again.. went to get my wife's necklace, which I bought, out of pawn today and the dude stereo typed me off the gate like I was trying to steal something. I had the pawn ticket, and both mine and my wife's id and explained its hard for my wife to get there because of her work hours and he still refused to help me. Then my wife called him and he still refused to let me pay and get her necklace out.. it's ok. I'll get her there to get it. And pray for the grumpy judgemental old man...have to be a local to get treated decent at this place.. smh. Hence all the good reviews from locals

Drove from Chillicothe to buy a bunch of silver. Brought $3,000 with me. Hours say open until 5:30. I got there at 5:04. Walked through the door and the girl started turning off all of the lights and she said I'm closing, I have to go get my kids. They were supposed to be open for another 26 minutes. Wasted my time and my gas. I won't be driving there anymore. Can't even trust they will be open during their posted business hours. Don't waste your time. I'll be ordering from SD bullion for now on.

My first experience at Derby Pawn left me with a smile on my face. I dealt with Rob who is efficient, knowledgeable and truly goes out of his way to help. The shop has a nice assortment of items for sale, and BE SURE to consider purchasing the silver or gold items for a good investment. Rob won’t steer you wrong! I will definitely be back and leave a few more dollars next time.

Made an unexpected stop by Derby Pawn & Coins while visiting from out of town. I wanted to see what his silver and gold inventory looked like. We go to Derby Pawn every year to get our Christmas Silver. Rob is always very friendly and has a great selection of silver to choose from. Highly recommend stoping in and looking around.
