The Hope Chest is a popular thrift store that offers a wide range of items including furniture, vintage pieces, clothing, toys, and artwork. Recently, the store expanded by moving its Donation and Processing Center to a new location at 1125 Derby Street, allowing them to accept donations of all items except furniture. The retail store remains in its original spot and has been enlarged by 2,500 square feet to display more merchandise. Customers appreciate the clean and orderly environment, with many finding good deals on furniture, kitchen items, sewing supplies, and inexpensive clothing—some items costing a dollar or less. Staff members are generally friendly and helpful, assisting customers with large items and providing good service despite busy lines and multiple visits. Visitors often mention that they find unique and unexpected items, making it a fun place to shop for those looking for vintage, artwork, or affordable household goods. However, some concern is raised about the prices, which some feel are too high for items that were once free or donated, especially for lower-income families. Overall, The Hope Chest is seen as a place with a great selection of thrift items, friendly staff, and a convenient expanded space that attracts many shoppers looking for quality deals and unique finds.
Other than raising their prices on furniture they're a pretty good deal

Great little thrift store. Never know what you may find. Thee only downfall is the workers deal with all sorts of people and you can tell by the end of the day. In general they are all courteous and polite.
