I went in today for a hair cut, all over color, and eye brow wax. Jackie was very friendly and explained all my questions. I had one of the best hair salon experiences I've ever had. My hair color and cut turned out amazing! And my eyebrows have never been waxed as perfectly as they were today! I left there feeling refreshed and amazed. 10/10 definitely will be back

The best sugar waxing services, cannot recommend Cassi enough!! I went to her for a while before moving out of state. I finally found a sugar wax service in AZ but it was a horrible experience and will never go back! When i booked my flight to IL to visit family i immediately booked my sugar wax appointment! Getting sugared by Cassi is a walk in the park, she is so incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and really takes pride in her work and the business she’s built! She was very accommodating with positioning as I am 7 months pregnant. The environment and other staff are also very inviting and friendly. She is very communicative and can get you in pretty quick as well. If I had the money I would fly to Peoria every month for my waxing needs or fly her out to me! Hands down the best at what she does!

Alter Ego is where it's at! Sugaring is the way to go and Cassi is the best! She cares about her clients, is super professional, always available, respond promptly and makes you feel very comfortable. The salon is in a great location, always clean and the staff is great too! ♡♡♡

This was my first time at the salon. My stylist was very nice and she did a good job with my color. Although I did have hair dye all over my face, neck and ears when I got home. My cut, however, was a mess. It didn't look bad when I did a quick look at the salon but when I got home realized It was very uneven. Their prices are less than a lot of other salons so it was unfortunate that the cut was so bad. I also noticed that the salon wasn't very clean. It looked like someone had been in a rush to get out the night before.

I went here for a foil and stacked bob haircut while I was staying in town. Andrea was my stylist and she was great. I usually don't like conversation too much when in a chair but she was easy to talk to and we had similar interests. I loved my hair when I left, but the purple highlights I got washed out in two cold water washes, which is not typical for color when I get it. I'm not sure what was used but that was a bit of a bummer. The place is cute, easy to access and very friendly. If I'm ever in the area again and need a cut, I will be back!

I was so lucky to have been squeezed in last minute and Sheila did a fantastic job. Due to some not so great experiences in the past I always find it difficult to find a stylist I can trust but she has my vote! I will definitely be returning.

I used Alter Ego to do hair and makeup for myself and my wedding party back in October. Everyone was so helpful and professional. I was so happy with my hair and makeup! My hair didn't fallout at all by the end of the night and my make up still looked great too! They were also super kind and flexible when i needed to add my mother andother in law to the appointments last minute. They also have a cute back room for your party to relax in while waiting for your turn. Very happy with this service!

Wonderful staff. Very professional and I'm more than pleased with my new cut. I go every three weeks for a gel manicure and I'm so happy that I decided to make a haircut and blow dry appointment.
