I have had one of the best vet experiences here since owning a dog, and she's 6. They take Care Credit and caught errors from my previous vet. I watch them interact with my nervous pup and they let her come to them so she feels more comfortable(to a point of course, lol). I trust them to give me options and point me in the right direction.
Unrelated: get pet insurance if you can. It seems like a waste of money until they start getting older and new things crop up. Mine paid for itself in 2 weeks when my pup had 2 things go wrong for her. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure(Getting things addressed early can prevent big things down the line). I go with Lemonade for Pet insurance. I have 80% coverage after a $250 deductible. Turns $500-$600 bills into ~$200.

We just moved to Peoria, so we needed a new vet for our elder dogs(9 and 8 years). One had severe gum disease, they helped with her pain till we can get enough money for the surgery. What surprised me is that when the vet assistants and vet came in they were all hyper making squeaky voices. This made my dogs so much happier to visit them. My dogs warmed up to them pretty quickly after that. I have never seen vets enter a vet room this way. The staff were super nice and polite and you can tell they love their job! 100% going back and 5 stars!

I want to give a low zero the Male Dr ...Dr.deadmond killed my puppy Sat morning at 8 am.This place did everything but what they were suppose too.Hes not professional and needs to be gone.Please spread this word everywhere.
My baby was fine he gave him to much and in the wrong place I will be showing a autopsy proof soon.Do not go there! Literally killed my puppy and didn't even care they shipped me off to the tri county which was worse cause he had to go home.Rhis is truth please safmve your animals he killed him in my arms right away.

Finding the Peoria Area Veternarian Group has been a godsend for both me and my beloved cat, Pete, who has been receiving cancer treatments. Before, we were making frequent trips to the University of Illinois Veternarian Clinic, which made for a very long and excruciating day for both of us. The PAVG veternarians, veternarian techs, and front staff are all so proficient, kind, and magnificent. Pete has been receiving wonderful care. I love everyone at PAVG.

Took my beloved cat of 13 years in after he died (they were going to take him in right away but he died before we got there) His remains came in a beautiful wooden box, (they gave me multiple choices) a beautiful silky blue bag with in the box and a nice velvet bag for the box to go in. A nice big clay paw print and a very nice death certificate with a card and info on pet bereavement services. I'm new to the area and will bring my other furbabies for their wellness care.

NEVER take your pet to this place! They can’t do vaccines right because they can’t read a chart! They don’t realize that your pets are actually patients & loved by their family! These people simply don’t care. Incompetent from the receptionist to the doctor! I wish I could have given them zero stars!

This is a very good .Vet .clinic. .I was looking all over, I found them and they treated my kitty so good and gentle. .Also answered any questions I had. They are so nice and I would recommend to anyone! I had Dr..Gratton, then the second time, Dr. .Peterson. It was a good experience which is what I have been looking for. My vet retired so it has been hard to find one. But this clinic, on.Prospect Rd..let me breathe a sigh of relief. They care and I can trust them with my..kidz

Staff is very good at handling my cat who is feisty and anxious. She's less stressed than she's been at other clinics and the staff is very communicative and leaves me with no questions by the end of the visits, which go by quickly. They always follow up after her vaccinations to make sure she's not having a reaction, which is very thoughtful.

I’ve taken both my dog and cat here. The staff are always friendly and love on my pet. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and helpful. Good communication throughout my puppies surgery and even did a follow up call after wards to make sure she was doing ok.
