It's was ok just make sure you look over your paper work I was charged something call a rent from the store fee of 10 dollars meaning they charge you for just for renting from there store plus your rental cost ..

If i typed out all the things i was displeased about regarding my experience in dealing with these clowns..id be here all day! So i will list just a few things. After having already reserved our rental car..we went to the store location to pick it up..there were 3 people waiting in the lobby when we walked in..a woman..with two small children..so obviously only one customer..behind the desk area were three employees..two of which were doing absolutely nothing and one talking on his phone..we stood at the counter..and im not exaggerating i promise..for almost 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledge the fact we were standing there..the employee talking on his phone looked at us on at least two occasions..but said nothing.. No "ill be with you in just a minute"..."sorry for your wait" nothing!! My girlfriend and i were quite annoyed by the situation to say the least. Finally a fourth employee comes out from the back and asks if he can help us..we explained we were here to pick up our rental..he then proceeds to tell us that the guy that has been on the phone (apparently talking to nobody as I don't think I heard him speak more than two words the whole time we were waiting) would be with us in just a moment. ??..after about 15 more "moments" of standing there..we were finally afforded the pleasure of being treated as if we were an inconvenience and the guy acted pissy towards us because he had to put down his phone and do his job!! Hands down the worst customer service (or lack thereof I should say) I have ever experienced!! ..Ffwd to returning the car..which was due back on a sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. a day that they are not even open on i might add.. due to snow and icy road conditions, we were 1 hr 48 minutes late dropping the car off at the store(that wasnt even open) and then a week later got a letter from them saying we would not be getting the $500 deposit back until we paid the fee for being late!! ..i mean.. after all we did cost them so much money being late and all.. you should have seen all the people standing in line in the freezing cold outside the store waiting to rent that car on monday morning!!!... Absolutely scandalous!! Crooks!! ..fees for being less than 2hours late...

Our hire car broke down (dropped all its oil) and Herz couldn’t arrange a tow, couldn’t arrange a replacement, and basically just left us to deal with it ourselves. This was made worse by the sub zero temperatures. If you rent from Hertz, prey their poorly maintained car doesn’t break down, because if it does, you’re on your own.

Would be zero if I had the option. Only come and rent a car here if you want to get screwed. We had a rental from this location while we had some repairs done to our car. The rental was covered by insurance. We went with a local repair company and the only rental company that will drop off cars to our town is this location. So we did not have a choice in who we went with. Upon compleation of our repairs we dropped the vehicle off at the repair shop. A couple of weeks later we got a bill in the mail for one day or rental. I asked the repair shop if there had been a mistake. No the car was picked up the same day that we dropped it off. When I told them that we had been charged for an additional day the repair shop called and corrected the situation for us but they also informed me that this was not the fist time that this location had charged for an extra day on a rental. A few weeks later we got an invoice from Plate Pass for a 5 day toll pass package. There are tolls from the Chicago area. We live roughly 3.5 hours away from Chicago and we did not make a trip to Chicago in the area. We live aproximatly 200 miles from Chicago and according to the milage on the bill they sent us we drove a total of 158 miles. No where near enough to get us to Chicago and back.I could not be more upset with the service and the run around that I have gotten in trying to deal with all of this. Please save yourself the headach and money. Find somewhere else to rent.

Went there to pick up the van for my trip to Florida the next day. No staff was told to pick up at Peoria airport. There is not a Hertz in the airport. Totally pissed...

Aweful. Rented a car for one day while my truck was in for hail damage. I was charged for eight days. Four months and two dozen phone calls later, I'm still waiting for my refund.

I rent a car from this location more frequentlyin 1700 Pioneer Parkway, Peoria, IL 61615Today I saw new customer service representative Meisha. She is newly hired and very friendly. I wish her all the best!Thanks Meisha for joining the awesome team members in this amazing friendly place!Noah T, gave me the awesome customer service! He is very professional, customer friendly and very knowledgeable.Every time I go car was ready for pick up. They have great clean Cars for rental. Their office is very clean.I never had any problems with Hertz rental cars in this location!I spoke to the Manager Brock H, he is the awesome team leader with his energetic attitude towards customers!This place is amazingly busy with great customer service!I recommended to my family and friends, recommend many more!

We booked a car to pick up at Hertz at 9am the previous day, and sat in the lobby after speaking with someone for 40 minutes waiting to be helped. I went to the counter to ask how much longer we can expect to wait, and didn't even get a chance to ask as the person at the counter simply turned around and walked away from me without even saying hi. There was another person waiting for the same amount of time as us and by the time we walked out at 9:40, she still was not able to get a car. They first told her said the car needed to be cleaned, and then they told her it needed an oil change. I understand sometimes people need to be trained, but the person at the counter seemed like he did not know how to do this job, yet it was clear that he had worked there for over a year. He had the poor woman standing at the counter for 20 minutes while he was on the computer seemingly doing nothing, and barely speaking to her. I have never had a more dissatisfactory experience renting a car, and just felt very ignored. I will not be trying to rent from Hertz ever again.
