Terrible service, attitude city. If you were not in a mood when you got there you will be by the time you leave. Management does not care what you think and the service staff are horrific.

This is for the sushi and hot foods section. I bought the poke bowl and lo and behold, the avocados were either brown or green and hard. The rice was also undercooked. Otherwise, I like the sushi rolls because they are filling and have a good variety of selections. They are kind of placed everywhere so it takes time to see what each of their names are. One dragon roll would be in one corner and another dragon roll would be in the other corner. I wish they added more ginger in the sushi containers, there's like two thin slices for the entire roll. I also tried the hot foods section where they sell leftovers in the fridge section. Almost everything - the chow mein, fried rice, sesame chicken, and orange chicken is so salty and drowned in sauce. Please keep it down on sodium. Again, the rice is undercooked. Why is it crunchy?? The chicken is a little dry and drowned in gooey sauce. The outside of the containers come very sticky. I notice the top is haphazardly placed onto the container, squishing some contents out of the container which causes the stickiness. Luckily, there are napkins to grab near the sushi section. Chopsticks, duck sauce, and soy sauce too!

Racist employees that assume every non-white person is stealing! The managers are rude and pathetic, and they allow their employees to harass American brown people! I was there this morning and couldn't finish scanning my items before a CASHIER turned around and literally stared at me! Then, she decided to tell me that I hadn't scanned my items at the bottom of the cart! Not that it was any of her business, but I was doing a separate transaction!!!! An old man walks up in an old sweater and chimes in claiming that people are stealing and that the employee was within her rights to harass me! I will never shop at Hyvee again! If you are black, stop shopping at Hyvee!!!!!

Very large selections and the employees I've interacted with in my visits have been friendly and helpful. I really like their selection of meat and fish. Their produce is always fresh but a little pricey compared to their competitors. Overall a nice shopping experience.

Besides a good cup of hot Latte, and the comfort of seating in the communal restaurant area of Hy-Vee, facing the outdoors, that is decorated for the fall and for Halloween, the indoors of Hy-Vee now -- besides the food and drinks -- is in fact, all ready for Halloween, as well. That shows in the restaurant decor, on the info boards, at the food stands, in the buffet area ... -- pretty much everywhere. Cakes and pastries are Halloween-themed and reflect the holiday color palette, and real pumpkins are also placed everywhere, reminding customers of "Happy Halloween"!

Today I was getting some fresh meat and seafood for my husbands birthday and I could not get over how perfectly displayed the meet selection was. Usually that would be weird to look at raw meet? However it was displayed perfectly and everything looked amazing! Presentation is everything

I wanted to send my daughter and son-in-law a long distance hug and your floral department exceeded my expectations. The bouquet is absolutely gorgeous! My order was placed at 11:45 and delivered at 3:45. This is the second time I have ordered flowers from the Grand Prairie location and it won't be the last. Thank you for helping me to express my love from Texas.

Don't use their order ahead service. We have had repeated issues, most recently today. Part of our order was two lbs of brussel sprouts. After we brought the order home we found that we only received 15oz, despite being billed for 1.97lbs. When we brought it to their attention we were told to go back to the pick up trailer at noon and get the balance. At 12:15 we got there and there were no brussel sprouts or any record of our request. We then went to eat at Wahlburgers which was a complete fiasco including waiting an hour for our food and getting a refrigerated (ice cold) hamburger and a Wahlburger salad. We decided to stop by HyVee customer service to check on our brussel sprouts before leaving the store but again nothing. We waited an additional 20 minutes before someone finally went to the produce aisle and got them. While waiting we also asked to see a manager, Mike?, but after 20 min and 2 pages he did not show, apparently too busy.

I've been struggling with pick up at various stores recently, Hy-Vee is the best grocery pick up option in town. Produce is always in good condition. In the rare instance a mistake is made, their customer care goes above and beyond to resolve the issue, such as free delivery to replace items.
