As opposed to the grocery store, this place is awesome! The employees are always kind and accommodating. They are always willing to make something fresh and custom just for me and my son since we are picky eaters. I love this place!

If a cashier is too lazy to reach over and pick up the item to scan the barcode, and listens to his phone at high volume at the register, maybe this isn't the job for him.

What a great idea to have a grocery store that’s convenient and buy the gas station. You don’t have to go in the big store and there’s no long lines. Excellent selection of different items all in a convenient store.

The managers don't seem to have any sense of competence when it comes to being a manager. They're rude, unprofessional, and like to make inappropriate jokes to their employees. Worst of all they don't care who sees it. No wonder you can't keep anyone Hy-Vee, you give unfair hours, pay unfair wages, and you treat your employees a lot like most corporate companies do, like they're worthless trash. Do better. One of many reasons we're glad becks is open.

the cashiers, they are very helpful and nice. As for the fast express food side of things it Is a joke. The people cooking and serving never have lunch out on time. If you ask them when something will be ready they just say idk. There is an especially mean lady there older with Grey hair. Who makes you feel like your doing summin wrong for asking a question. Coffee machines and other machines go down and stay down for long periods of time. Do not recommend going there for lunch at lunch time.
