Like a filthy third world country. At least it's a fast in and out. Used to be the nicest in town but not any longer.

This Kroger's is the best grocery store in Peoria. There are other good grocery stores and Peoria, however this Kroger's beats them all! Excellent source for fresh fruits and vegetables, a professional bakery, hot foods ready to eat, a wide selection of lunch meat and cheeses, a butcher shop with an expert staff, a Starbucks, and a full selection of alcoholic drinks. The store is clean, and well lit. Parking is ample. The only reason I don't give this Krogers 5 stars is because it's almost 6 miles from my house.

5 months later and I think they hired some new and more happier employees. I stopped in there ( just out of convenience) and it seemed like a lot of new employees. More courteous and friendly. Finally!!! Customer service desk still has closed sign but things have improved. Hope it stays that way

Overall a great store, however the staff isn't as friendly and welcoming to their customers. The Hispanic girl with glasses on that I see all the time who works at this store is extremely rude and should not be working there.

The fuel savings are pretty significant. I believe it's up to $1 off up to 50 gallons, so if you consider these savings it makes Walmart's lower prices on crappier products less enticing.Well lit, attended during daytime hours, and can get Blue Rhino propane, softener salt, and a selection of automotive products without entering the main store.

chose clicklist pickup for 2 days later. they called saying they were behind, asked me to come 2 hours later than my chosen pickup time. show up and waited for 90 minutes, without my items. many were defrosted and damaged. Will not be shopping here again for the foreseeable future. not worth the time spent, crying kids and damaged items. this is directly due to their lack of employees because they rq covid vacc to work there. so many workers have left.

Unbelievable. My son works at this location. He had to be tested for Covid on his day off because they don’t allow you to take time off. He had mild symptoms but still wasn’t feeling well. Management STILL asked him to come in to work while he waited for his results!!! Wtf! Well, to no surprise his test results came back positive for Covid-19!! He had been exposed by another worker at this store and they still made him work like this! Terrible work ethics now you have other employees there now who have been exposed all because management wouldn’t allow him to call in until his results came in.

Missing meats from pick-up order. I have been shopping at this store for 6 years. Jenny at the self-check is great. Never had a problem until I tried pick up twice. Both times they left items out. Today, they left 3 meat items out of the order. Luckily, I stopped in the parking lot to recheck my order before I got home. I went into the store. Customer service person could not help me and told me I had to log into the app. I had to retrieve my password and finally showed him the receipt. He paged the pick-up staff at Kroger. No reply. Finally, they replied and told him they did not have my meat items. I told him I would recheck my trunk. I carried all my items back into the store (which, yes defeats the purpose of pickup), and he said I could go get the missing items myself. As an older person with asthma, I'm not supposed to be out and about. As I left, I drove by the pickup area and talked to 3 staff people (including the young man who put the order in my trunk). I was not accusatory. I said I thought it was an honest mistake. They simply repeated that they did not have my 3 meat items. If you do use pickup, print out your receipt before you leave home, and recheck your order before leaving the pickup area. If anything is missing, assume that you will have to fix their mistake. Very disappointing. I will need to use pickup at Hyvee from now on or risk going in the store. After all, today I not only waited for pickup in the parking lot, but had to go back into the store twice. Kroger, what's happening with your store?

Chillicothe store has the most useless employees. They are rude every time we go there. It has been months since anyone was nice at Chillicothe Store. Going to drive to Peoria instead.

The Kroger on Lindbergh in Peoria, IL was my favorite store until they removed the majority of the cashier lanes and replaced them with self-checkout. I understand these are efficiencies that many chains are turning to but I don't see how self-checkout is efficient to those who have a cart-full of groceries. When I was there on a Saturday only one cashier lane was open; the rest were self-checkout.

I enjoy shopping here it's just a bit far out for many of my trips to town, but the cheese and seafood departments really stand out. In fact, this is the only Kroger in the area that you can safely buy fresh live oysters. They actually check each oyster for freshness before they throw it in the bag...one by one like they do on the east coast. Rarely do I have to throw out oysters from this store because they are sold dead or spoiled. Cannot say the same thing for the stores in East Peoria, Pekin, or Bloomington. The gal in charge here knows her stuff...she should train ALL of the stores how to know a live oyster from a dead one. Bravo and thank you!
