Rudest Kroger in town. If the kids who work there aren't giving you attitude it's the older employees. I'm so sorry I tried to hand back a bag that appeared abandoned in self check only to have two young employees rip my head off. Honestly the only reason I even drop by is because they have items there that the other krogers don't. Would leave zero stars if I could. I've also had an employee slam her butt into my bags in the self check and knock everything to the ground. Learn how to take pride in your jobs, maybe try this old timey idea called customer service?

Margaret and all of the pharmacy staff are always very courteous, supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful! ESPECIALLY Margaret! She didn’t accept “no” for the answer from insurance and diligently tried 2-3 times in order to get my prescription approved and I wouldn’t have been able to get it otherwise! She is so understanding, kind, diligent, thorough and attentive to her job!!! Thank you, Margaret, team, and Great pharmacist who answered my questions! Kroger’s on Lake pharmacy is the Best!*****

Peoria-Customer service is lacking. 8 minutes to 1 pm. “We are closed for lunch from 1-2”. Instead of ignoring me you could have informed me initially. Not looking directly at me seems an odd way to acknowledge…or not. This happened several times.

This review is solely for one employee at his Kroger's. Adam, a manager who checked me out, did not make eye contact, did not smile, did not respond to pleasant conversation. I was disappointed with this unpersonable behavior. I like pleasant people, so therefore, I probably will not go back to that Kroger's for a while. Adam, a manager, must understand he's constantly training his staff. So to behave in a boorish manner to customers says the very bad example for the employees who witness it. Maybe that's what he wants them to do to.

Pharmacy has no genuine caring staff. Very short and rude. Walgreens pharmacy techs and pharmacist are so much better. All the ladies at the West lake Kroger pharmacy are grumpy and grouchy.

I haven't shopped at Kroger in years. I usually go to Walmart, but after seeing their commercials about their fresh inspected fruit. That is a bold face lie. Almost every fruit I picked up was either badly bruised or spoiling. I decided to buy 2 grapefruits. I cut the grapefruits the next day and they were already rotten on the inside. Do you know how bad grapefruits have to be to rot on the inside. No more experimenting. Back to Walmart

Kroger's customer service is starting to mirror Walmart. Not enough cashiers to accommodate customers, when checking out.

No matter where I've lived I always gravitate towards Kroger as my go to grocery store. Didn't even realize it until I was abt 30 and started noticing Kroger labels on items in my local Ralph's store in San Diego. I no longer had to be price sensitive and wanted the best selection of cheese seafood and top choice beef. San Diego Phoenix Denver...always at Kroger. Don't get me wrong...gotta stop at Whole Foods as well but Kroger also has lots of sales and clearance items that draw me in. This Kroger on Lake at Sheridan Village is the best in Peoria. Great produce selection and very helpful fresh flower dept...cant tell you how many flowers I've picked up here for my Mom who lives in a nursing home. Huge wine and booze selection, top choice beef, and regular sales on seafood. Always have fresh oysters for .59 each if you don't mind shucking them yourself as I do...introduced to raw oysters while in prep school in Groton years ago and CAN'T get enough. What really stands out is the friendly and helpful staff...hard to find these days. A must stop when I'm in the area.
