There is a lot I like about Mike Miller Hyundai, but their slow service is unacceptable. I bought a brand new 2017 Sonata from them, and have always tried to use them for service. Starting out, it was a week to a week and a half to schedule an appointment. I thought that was pretty reasonable. Then it kept increasing over time - 3 weeks, 5 weeks, 6-7 weeks at the peak. Today I tried to schedule an appointment and they are 3 weeks out. Just for an oil change. Maybe this is the norm among car dealerships? My concern is that as this car ages, and needs more service, I am going to be in a lot of trouble. My previous car was an aging Altima, and Uftring Nissan was phenomenal with service, always working me in within a few days. This issue is compounded by the fact that at 50k miles, the car started using a significant amount of oil - about a quart per 1k miles. MMH knows about this and had me go through a rigorous process to try to get a claim on it. They ended up "fixing it" - according to their process - but it still uses lots of oil. I was admonished during that process for not using their service dept for all the oil changes. I explained how long it took to schedule appts, and was told by a manager I could always call in (as opposed to using the website) to get an appt in a few days. That is simply not true. I will be looking at getting a new car in the next year, and I just can't see myself investing in another vehicle with MMH. I have to have more responsive service available.

I was on my way to Peoria to babysit my granddaughters when my Santa Fe Engine failed on a country road. After a requiring a total engine replacement under the Recall. Melissa, Justin, Brian and Bryce were awesome to get me on the road in less than a week! The communication is amazing and they took me under their wing assuring me that they would do whatever they could to get me on my way home 9 hours away on the day I needed to leave. "Thank you" just isn't enough to express my appreciation for their compassion, understanding, and support during a very stressful time. I recommend Mike Miller Hyundai to everyone!

Very friendly salesmen who are all patient and welcoming. We’ve purchased 3 vehicles over the course of 2years and I will never go anywhere else! Clayton has always treated us with respect and answered any and all questions and concerns we’ve had in a timely manner. Will never purchase a vehicle from anywhere else! 10/10 recommend!

I'll start by saying I've been to this dealer 3 times and have had varying experiences. The first time I went, my wife and I were seeking a new palisade. None were currently available so they ended up having us test drive a 2020 version of the new car we wanted, which was fine. Randy was very knowledgeable and friendly and he's the reason we ultimately decided on the Palisade over the Highlander, the Pilot, and the Ascent. They told us it would be a couple months before one came in and were incredibly nonchalant about the fact that they were charging $5000 over sticker price. This is an unfair business practice and is probably the reason Hyundai hasn't allocated more vehicles to them, unlike the dealer I ultimately purchased my vehicle from just 2 hours away at a fair price. I'll add that I did agree to purchase a new limited at $1000 over sticker but the car was sold out from under my salesman. In my opinion, if they're taking advantage of you on the front end, they'll do it in the service department as well.About 2 weeks ago I went in for a recall and Justin was very polite and friendly as I was checked in. The recall was finished 5 to 10 minutes faster than the quoted time and my car came back to me washed and ready to go. 5 stars here.Thursday I went in for my first complimentary maintenance at 6500 miles after I was denied at the 5k miles the bluelink app recommended. Brian noticed I hadn't been approached yet and checked me in and I went to the lounge. About 6 months ago, we picked up a screw in the tire and I plugged it and kind of forgot about my roadside assistance at the time. Zac came to tell me that it wasn't holding air, couldnt be plugged, and I would need a new tire. I was provided with a quote of $235 to order it. I asked if roadside covered that and he went to check. It didn't come up under my VIN so he asked the finance manager Derick. He looked visibly annoyed to be bothered about this and asked my if I bought my car from them. That question implies to me that I will receive inferior service because when I bought, Mike miller could not provide the car in a reasonable amount of time. I'll add that it was never explained to me that roadside coverage doesn't include road hazard, nor does the hankook factory warranty and repairs were on me. That's fine. What's not fine is how condescending and annoyed Derick was for having to be asked a simple question. I asked Zac to get my keys and get me checked out. My tire has held pressure for 3 days now under daily driving conditions. If I have to replace it, it will not be at Mike Miller.I was seriously considering my next car to be a Hyundai, Kia, or Genesis, but after my 2 moderately bad experiences, I will go elsewhere. I'll only return to Mike Miller for warranty work, recalls, and complimentary service from now. When my Accord finally bites the dust, I will most likely look to Toyota or Acura because of my experiences at this dealer

I had a fantastic experience working with Tim Richeson this weekend. He made sure all of my questions were answered, worked with me to make sure I was able to purchase the vehicle that I wanted, took ample time to show me all of the car’s features and treated me like a friend. The entire car purchasing experience was pleasant - I never felt pushed or pressured. I’m delighted with my new 2023 Tucson and look forward to continuing to work with Tim & the rest of the staff at Mike Miller.

Unfortunately I have to give a mixed review for this dealership.The good: Trying to find a Tucson Hybrid was quite difficult. I tried dealerships in northern Illinois, but one had me test drive a gas version because they had no hybrids on the lot and then tried to steer me toward that vehicle. Another had to have me test drive a hybrid that had already been sold, then said I could put a deposit down for one coming in, but they were adding 1k for additional equipment like nitrogen filled tires and wheel locks, and 4k as a markup.So it was very refreshing to work with Clayton at Mike Miller, who was not high pressure at all and found a car that would be arriving in a few weeks. It didn't have any accessories, so I asked for those to be ordered. No pushy salesman stuff, and no dealer markup. He followed up to let me know expected arrival time for the vehicle too. Most appreciated.The not so good: I received a call stating my car had come in early, but unfortunately Clayton was on vacation. So I went over to pay for and pick up the car. The first problem was that none of the accessories I had ordered were on the car. The salesperson that day wrote down what I had requested earlier and I thought those items would be ordered and I'd get a call when they came in. That didn't happen. Two weeks later I'm still driving a car with no floor mats of any kind.I had to take the car in twice for inspections after the sale. Had I known these were still outstanding and the accessories weren't on the car, I would have waited to pick it up. I wasn't given this as an option. It definitely gave me the feeling that they just wanted the big check and didn't want to be bothered after that.Adding an update to my initial review. I spoke with Clayton and Eli at Mike Miller and they expressed concern about what happened when I picked up the car. Clayton offered a substantial discount on the accessories and free installation. Initially they didn't have any appointments available before I was leaving for a trip, but they managed to fit me in when I mentioned it. Installation took quite a bit less time than the initial estimate and they even washed my car. So I'm adding a couple stars because I appreciate when people/companies make an effort to address an issue and listen to customers.

This is a DC fast charger, and it was true to its name. The charger was brand new, and it was easy to use, located in a clean and well lighted, safe place.

Very impressive place! Our salesperson, Tom, was the best. They made us feel so welcome and didn't pressure us at all. I love my new Sonata and feel like I got a good deal. The service was top notch!

I worked with Troy on getting my brand new car. He was patient and kind, because I wasn’t sure what car I wanted or if I even wanted one. I had my twins with me, and he went over and beyond in assisting me find a car and keeping my little ones happy with snacks while we did the paper work. I love my car and I love the experience I get with the employees every visit. Btw this was my 2nd purchase from them.
