Matthew is perhaps the most insulting, unhelpful, arrogant clerk I’ve ever had the displeasure to work with. If there is a choice between him and another banker at this branch, I’ll wait for them. Very poor service.

Brainiacs these bankers. They have the wheelchair accessible door locked so the automatic door won’t open for someone challenged. The door right next to it is open. It you didn’t really think pnc cares about customers? Hahaha ?

Excellent branch. Assistant manager Michael R and his predecessor David S helped me many times to solve my banking issues. Friendly, efficient, and helpful team here.

Absolute worst PNC branch, do not go to this one they only give people a hard time and always rude.Been along time PNC customer and have never had a good experience here, I highly recommend PNC fix this problem and get new employees because I’ve heard several people complain about this branch and say the same thing.

I don’t know why this place has bad reviews. Hubs and I just set up several accounts here and had amazing customer service with no problems or issues. We met with Jerod but all of the folks we have talked to at the metro center Pnc have been friendly and helpful. If you are looking to bank somewhere in Peoria I recommend them!!

Went to PNC today to get a variety of change totaling $137. Have been getting change at this bank for 20 years without question as it is very close to my office. Today I was asked my account # and told they could not give me change without an account. Mind you I was the ONLY customer in the lobby so I wasn't making account holders wait. Not a good way to attract new customers by refusing a very insignificant change order.

If you or anyone you know are considering using the PNC Mortgage office in Peoria, IL, READ THIS. Several weeks ago my wife and I went to the PNC Mortgage office in Peoria, IL and spoke with Michael Reinert about applying for a FHA loan for a new house. We went through the application process and were approved. We told him we were currently in a contract for deed from my parents in our townhouse that we were selling, and that our down payment was going to come from the proceeds of the sale. Our realtor was purchasing the townhouse from us, so everything would be done at the same time. We had the contract for deed paperwork with us and he told us that he didn't need it because we shouldn't do the loan that way, that the money should be treated as a gift, and that would make things easier and cleaner. We assumed he must know better than us because he does this for a living. He asked us when we wanted to close, and we told him April 29 because we our second child was due May 29, and we needed time to get moved, settled, and a nursery set up. As the process progressed, and we grew closer and closer to our scheduled close date, we began to grow concerned that things were not moving as smoothly as they should be. Because we were now proceeding with the funds treated as a gift, FHA required bank statements and other personal information from my parents, which, understandably, they did not want or need to provide. None of us understood why this information was required. He found another way around these requirements, so we submitted everything required and were all ready to go. Then, on April 25, four days before our scheduled close date, after not hearing anything regarding our status for several days, I sent a text to Mike asking about our status. Conveniently, he called me shortly after saying that he was "just about to call me." He said there was a problem with everything to FHA and that they hadn't reviewed everything. This was upsetting because everything had been submitted in plenty of time and there was no communication to us about the status. At this point, since our closing date was only seemingly important to us, I decided it would be best to get a manager involved. After telling the manager, Joyce Mason, what was going on and going through all the difficulties with the paperwork and loan structure, she even said that it should have been structured to have the money down come from proceeds, not as a gift. A gift would infer that we did not have the money, when in reality, the equity we had built in the townhouse was our money. So, after a comment or two from Mike about "having to restructure everything," we restructured and resubmitted to FHA. The manager was involved now and was going to work to expedite everything, and we assured everything was going to work out. Well here we are on May 13. We already moved into the new house because the manager suggested we ask our realtor for early occupancy because everything was going to be fine. We needed furniture and appliances, so we went shopping and purchased what we needed. We've already closed on the sale of our townhouse, so we don't own that anymore. We have a two year old girl and in two weeks will have a baby to bring home. The problem is, Joyce, the manager, called me this afternoon, after another ignored text to Mike, and informed me that FHA was no longer interested in proceeding with the loan. They felt that because of the discrepancies and changes in structure and paperwork that something fishy was going on. I asked her what PNC was going to do to fix this, because after all, it was the ineptitude of the Peoria office that did this to us. Her response was that there was nothing they could do and that they weren't going to charge us for the appraisal. Great! Thanks for the few hundred dollars! If Mike had just structured everything how we had wanted and thought it should have been done, everything would be taken care of. Now we're living in a house that we don't own, we sold the house we came out of, so
